12:05 "Those that missed out on the shower ticket...can withdraw their defeat on this vending machine." What a wonderful way to frame the experience.
Fabulous video… no annoying music, no constant talking… just natural sounds. This truly was one of the most beautiful and relaxing videos I have watched lately! Thank you…. And those views were amazing!🤩
Amen!
Been watching your channel for a few years now...not sure how you afford all these trips but am so glad you do. You have a great way of showing the location, and mode of transport...aka trains, in such a calm yet interesting way!🤘
He's one the biggest Yakuza members in Japan. They make money in mysterious ways.
His videos get enough views for CZcams to be paying him for it. So he probably uses that to continue many trips
Or maybe he just works. But I don't know why but I think it is thanks to his parents.
A similar thought crossed my mind, about the means to travel often and comfortably--- but then I stifled it because I knew that it was envy rearing its petty little head. :) Someone else might say "Must be nice ..." and I think I ought to say "Glad the experience is being shared".
Maybe its sponsored by the train company
5:31 “The train departs as scheduled.” While seemingly redundant for Japan, I like liking these videos at this point.
Missed opportunity to just call it the “Sun Seto”
I watched your trip today. I was feeling anxious, just a feeling I was having no reason for it. I felt very calm and relaxed after watching your video. Imagine, you reached someone thousands of miles away to improve their day! Thank you for sharing.
What a lovely trip, very relaxing. Japanese culture is so neat, clean and orderly. Thank you Kuga for taking me along for this beautiful journey. Your videography is very professional and presents an objective look into a delightful means of travel.
We’ve all seen 374,013 Sunrise Express videos by various CZcamsrs but it never gets old does it? 😂. Thanks Kuga!

Thank you for measuring the bed. It is almost exactly my height, so it would be uncomfortable, but acceptable. Those centimeters are precious! 😆 I would travel on this train, and I wouldn't if the beds were 190 cm.
Very calming and nice video. Thank you for not having any annoying music, only the ASMR of natural sounds. 💙💛Greetings from Sweden!
Thank you for the videos, I’ve been watching them for the past 6 months now, and have enjoyed everyone of them. They are all well done. Thank you for saying thank you for the food every time. Looking forward to more, from Canada.
Thank you for the winter video😊 Japanese landscapes with snow look like fairy tales🥰
I could very happily live on that train, just riding to and fro from the two destinations.
This was very calming and interesting. I like your silent narration with the text descriptions.
The landscape scenes were incredibly pretty.
Well done.
Thank you for sharing your travels! I love the peace and quiet and being able to hear all the back ground sounds that you experience
Brilliant! Thank you for posting these videos!! 😊
The way you let the situations and views speak for itself paired with the calm yet sometimes funny insights and explanations makes me feel cozy and warm and like I'm a traveling companion of yours. thanks and keep on going!
What a beautiful snowy scenery
Love Japanese culture. Everything is so clean . You all take such pride in your work. Very respectful. Thank you for your video. Cheers from North Carolina .
Thanks, Kuga! This train trip was lovely. Wintery travel videos are my favorite right now.
I love your Japanese theme travel videos - it's very soothing to watch as I enjoy how clean, nice, fresh and well organized everything is down to the smallest detail. Also the Japanese style is a wonderful, visual experience for the eye, kind of fairy tale world. There is a special mood and feeling about Japan, how you manage to present and capture it, that is nerve-calming to see and experience. Thanks for your great travel video works.🙏🏻
What a beautiful country you live in! And that meal with soba noodles looked so good, too! Thank you so much for your wonderful work with your videos, Kuga!!!! 👍
Thankz again Kuga. Your videos never disappoint. Before I die I would like to visit Japan. I'm happy here in the Oberpfalz, Germany and our Zoigl Bier culture. Stop by.
The scenery looked amazing and the food looked delicious. I imagine the baths were very relaxing. Thank you Kuga.
I've never visited Japan in the Winter, only Spring and Autumn. But I would love to see it in the Winter covered in snow in person. Thank you for sharing!

How have I only just discovered your channel?! I adore travel videos, especially around Japan, it is my dream to visit one day, and the way you edit your videos is beautiful, no talking, just lovely sights and sounds, I can feel at peace while watching, I am excited for more, and I'll be going back to watch your old videos 😊
it is somewhat wholesome to know that the Japanese train-loving community exists and they like to see trains combine and separate.
Very enjoyable trip. Thank you for posting.
今年も車窓から雪景色がキレイ‼!
First time viewer and I’ll be watching the rest of your video. We’re planning on coming to Japan in 2025 and we love to travel by train. Watching your trip enlightened us to the shower ticket needs to be purchased immediately along with a sleeper room. The views of your country on this particular trip was wonderful because we live in snow country and I love the snow. Can’t get over how clean your stations are but you are a proud people who have respect for your country. Thank you again and I’m looking forward to my next travel experience with you!
What a nice journey. I agree with you, it looks like a very relaxing experience with a nice reward at the end. A perfect way to take a relaxing and pleasant journey. Thanks for sharing this experience with us. Good travels, and cheers from Texas.
I miss Japan - will be back to try overnight sleeper trains. Thank you for the videos!
第一次从出云号看雪景,太美了,谢谢你的拍摄!
This is such a great video. Watching the beautiful snowy scenery go by your quiet sleeper room has me so jealous! ♥
It looks so cozy! Snowy Landscapes outside and a nice, warm and comfortable Bed inside.
wow, that's soooo cool! Until we get spaceships to other planets, I think this is the coolest transport that humans have made. I will now plan to visit and ride this myself. Thank you Kuga.
Thank you for another lovely video treat.
have been watching your channel for the last twelve months, especially the Australian train ones, which is where I am from and have gone back and watched many previous videos. I have enjoyed your travels and look forward to many more
Thank you for taking us along on your journey.
I enjoyed that tremendously ... Both the journey and your film-making style. Thank you
Lovely train ride very beautiful scenery and the snow highlighted the beauty. The Soba looked devious
I wish America would invest more into its railroad systems. It was THE MODE of transportation at one time. However, now most original rail lines are run down.
Bring back classy rail travel. 🎉
Railways work in Japan because it's a country of homogenous and highly intelligent people unlike diverse America with its "diverse" people who if the New York subway is anything to go by would be a terrible idea.
@@fyrdman2185Jesus, speak from your mouth and shit from your ass, not the other way around.
More accurate to say, Railways work in Japan because the infrastructure is actually built around it. The reason why the US as a whole doesn't have a strong public transport system is because corporate interests in America have actively undermined it from happening.
Plenty of European nations have well functioning public transport systems, so to say its because Japan is homogenized and less diverse, is both orientalist and just racist in general.
Speak for yourself, I much prefer going everywhere I need to go by car.
It helps quite a bit that Japan is 378,000 km², thin and linear, in contrast to the United States with its 9,867,000 km² in a 2:1 width-to-height ratio and 4500 km between Los Angeles and New York City (more than twice the distance of the furthest two points in Japan).
I love the snowy train rides in Japan.
Thank you - this trip is now on my Bucket List!
hey man, what a great video that was - Thank you. Respect for the UK
Came across these amazing train excursions. They are wonderful and Kugo does these in calming a Japanese style! 🇨🇦

What a beautiful video, makes me very nostalgic. My boyfriend was a japanese speaker and loved japanese culture even more than me, and we had big plans of traveling to Japan, ride trains and enjoy real japanese food.
The one time I was gonna take this sleeper Izumo train, no25 typhoon washed my dreams out 😢
I hope they never retire the sunrise express. It's such a beautiful train.
Another idea for the travel list. Thank you!
I lived in Korea for thirty years... always loved going to the mountains for hiking and bathing in the hot springs. I was fortunate enough to travel to Japan a couple of times, and always visited the hot springs there as well. Your video gives me nostalgic memories about my own adventures! Definitely looked like you had a great trip... I'm envious!
I am from Brazil and i like so much yours videos, congratulations!
You could take a train from Osaka to Himeji to catch this train. The castle at Himeji is amazing. If you are using a Japan Rail Pass, you should be able to travel Osaka to Himeji for free, even Tokyo to Himeji free, on JR services.
Seeing these videos makes me wish to ride along on these awesome sleeper trains.
I remember taking this cabin as a student! My luggage was so big I had to put it on my bed, and I was worried it would fall over and squish me 😅
So much fun to watch! 🙏🕊️🙏
Very calming, thank you :)
