The lyrics being added threw me for a loop. I wasn't expecting someone to sing to Sonic music. That being said, I'm now sad that more of the songs didn't include vocals. This is by far my favorite of the entire album.

Dan has a pretty good voice. Usually placing vocals into VG remixes turns out to be terrible, but I like the very few tracks he's sang in. He also did another for a remix of an Earthworm jim track that sounded great.

When I first heard this I thought it was a mashup with Marble Garden and a separate song but it’s not. That’s pretty impressive.
I think he means "headcrumbs" as in the person he was talking to wasn't paying attention, like he was sleeping. Y'know the crumbs in your eyes after you wake up? "Your eyes wide open in a trail of headcrumbs..."

I enjoyed Mario occasionaly back in the 16 bit era, but not as much. It just seemed to be about going forward jumping on mushrooms on very flat levels. Sonic seemed to be faster and more colourful, had slides and loop-the-loops etc

Actually, it's kinda funny. The singing style kinda reflects on Michael Jackson, & it's been proven that Jackson had a part in directing the music since early on, ending around sonic 3.

wow I like the singing on this one but I have the strange feelling that this song has to go on the final credits of a movie... and the chorus reminds me of the offspring

Its not bad when he's singing solo, but it sounds like there is some overlapping vocal tracks that run single-line, would have been nice to have some harmony.
Playing thru the marble garden zone as Knuckles was frustrating, because he doesnt jump as high as sonic. and i had to keep going back for the hover pad to jump high enough to kill that arrow spiting statue...I HATED THAT! I never figured out if there was a way around that part... I know someone else knows what Im talking about.... damn it all.
Some of the lyrics also hint at Sonic and Tails.

@WilligsPage Some BG music has lyrics. Metal Gear Solid... 3 I think has words in some of its songs. Lots of latin words in BG songs nowadays too.
