So I didn't take it as Luffy was excited to die where Roger did.. I always took it as Luffy accepted his death and was happy with his life so far. He lived chasing his dreams and like he told Coby, if he dies doing that then he can die happy. So when he thought he was going to die he smiled :)
Its not due to simple fate theory, its more complicated. He carries the Will of 'D ( the 'D people live with checkered fate) You will get to know more about it down the line. Its similar to Naruto (Will of Fire 🔥) Naruto didn't become the village hero because he is the child of prophecy. It's because he carries the will of fire 🔥, believed himself, dreamt of becoming hokage and trained so hard (even Sasuke was jealous of his exponential growth) to become the hero of leaf village.
Wado Ichimonji is kuina's sword. Zoro asked for it from her father and now carries her will and dreams with it (to become the world's strongest swordsman.)
That one popular cooking anime you mean Shokugeki no Soma? Hehe. There's also an equivalent version with Sanji which is Shokugeki no Sanji created by that same author 😂😊 It's non-canon but a good fun tribute.
Final comment on this one haha, so Alvida ate the slip slip/smooth smooth fruit.. so the joke (as I understand it) is the extra weight just slid off her lol
So not that it makes it better but the age of consent is 16 in Japan.. so Alvida fantasizing about Luffy isn't illegal.. just wierd haha. Although I can't say much cause I do ship Luffy with someone who is older than him (I'll tell ya when ya get there lol). By like 20 years haha
