If you rotate the cooler , 'corsair' text on left heatsink (push push) instead of right heatsink (push pull) in this video, which one is better?
Question? What are normal gaming temps not under stress with a air cooler vs aio?
There are far too many channels recently that are posting videos with mention of using the 14700K with air coolers and it's incredibly misleading. You are limited to mid-range GPUs. Please match this air cooler with the 14700K, no contact plate, and run any stress tests. Run thermal benchmarks during gameplay paired with a 4090 and video editing paired with ANY GPU 3080 or better. Reviewers or tech sources are seriously under-rating how difficult this CPU is to cool to allow for well-rounded usage and steady thermals across the board.
The test(s) in the video are done using a 13700K. Significantly easier to cool.
If you DO Air-Cool, Easy Trick: Limit the wattage of the chip to 240W.

Might try one on my next build. But I won't if I see the word iCUE anywhere on the box. If iCUE fails, you can lose power to your fans, AIO pump, and RGB lighting. You will be left in the dark as the failure can be in the iCUE software, controller(s) or both. While you are trying to figure out the cause, your CPU will overheat, and the PC will shut off. iCUE is the 11th plaque put on the PC world.

Thank you for getting back to me. Because of iCUE failure, I cannot BOOT my CORSAIR i8100 due to CPU overheating. This fan cooler may be able to revive my PC. Thanks again for your video. @@RobeytechLive
Phantom spirit has 7 heat pipes, this has 6, and the phantom spirit is cheaper. Corsair is overpriced
Also has far better price to performance than any of these, it cools both intel and amd equally well (A115 is horrible for amd's) and using 120mm fans makes it smaller (if it's of any importance to anyone).
Why thermalright phantom spirit is not on this chart? should be the best cooler under 100 dollars
paid content lol.. PA/PS 120 literally beats them all. but they dont like to include it since its their top rival competitor
Corsair has been secretly killing it lately. I just picked up their K65 Pro keyboard and I'm very impressed as a keyboard snob. Very good quality from a "big box" brand. Kinda shocked that this matches the DH15 in terms of performance. That sliding / locking mount system, despite labeling woes, should be industry standard.
