When I follow your steps, my tuner shows me I'm going from -15 to +50. Is that an issue for a kick. If it is, how do I fix that?

Not a big problem but probably the sustain level is not set at 12 ou 24 semi tones or you can change the oscillator to fixed mode so you can match the exact frequency or the kick is too short for the tuner get the frequency in time
