Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game is as silly and entertaining as the movie that spawned it, and that makes for a surprisingly compelling asymmetrical multiplayer game to boot. The back-and-forth between the wacky, murderous Klowns and the whiny teens is a blast no matter which side of the equation you find yourself on, and unlockable classes and abilities add some much needed variety… for a little bit, at least. After a handful of hours, once you’ve tried out all the human and Klown options and learned the layouts of the small number of maps, that competitive loop can get pretty stale. Here’s hoping developer Illfonic has some tricks up their baggy, checkered sleeves and can deliver updates to keep the clown car chugging along beyond that, but for now Killer Klowns makes for at least a dozen hours of really enjoyable hijinks. - Hry

What is with developers taking well-known horror franchises and turning them into asymmetrical multiplayer games. First, Friday the 13th, Evil Dead, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, now this? Why can't we have a single player survival horror or something?

looks cool but i'm worried about the game's longevity. as of right now (launch day) there are only around 2000 players on steam compared to 15000+ for both Texas Chainsaw Game and Friday the 13th game when they launched.

Reviewers seem to have a shorter attention span because they know that ultimately then need to move to the next thing. Every complaint he leveled applies equally to Dead By Daylight (Handful of maps, one mode, Killers generally more fun than humans, repetitive play, etc.) and that game is still going strong.

Thankfully the dev team altered how easy it is to kill the Klowns - you can still knock them down, but to pop the nose you need a bladed weapon or firearm.

Its honestly not even worth the 7 at least chainsaw and DBD had the scary aspect of it....the game isnt scary and its gets boring oretty quick
Even though the Steam page shows it getting positive reviews. The CZcams comments seem to tell a different story and sound more mixed. On one hand, we got people who liked the game and want to see it improve, while on the other, there’s people with Dead By Daylight fatigue who just want a single player experience (even though that wasn’t how it was advertised at the very beginning).
How come the gave this a seven but gave dragon ball the breakers a four?
They did? I've been playing breakers non stop for 2 years. So, by their logic, this is a 14 out of 10.

Not exactly. In th4 last 30 seconds, a special ice cream truck escape will spawn. If you can get to it you win. But if you can't, and time expires, you lose.

"It's" could refer to "playing as clowns" since this is the prevailing reference, or "it's", as intended, could refer to the circumstance of playing as humans...but precedes this context in the way the sentence is structured.
He should've said, "Playing as humans is nowhere near as novel" - This way context is given first, hence removing ambiguity of the non-specific "it's".

You sound like you have a really short attention span. All video games are simple and repetitive if you break them down. Dead by Daylight is repairing 5 gens by pressing a button once and sitting there, then pressing a different button on an irregular basis...

That's the problem with games like like after 4-5 hours of the sane mode it gets boring yet games like this always only release with one game mode every single time, just like evil dead and Texas chainsaw massacre this game will be dead in after 2-3 months

Releasing multiple game modes doesn't necessarily fix the issue. Horror asyms are pretty niche. So you already have a relatively small player base. Too many modes divides that small group. Then you have multiple modes that take ages to get into. Just like Evil Dead and splatter Royale 🤣
@fiddlinman_1playsgames641 having multiple modes doesn't spit players if devs think they do they the will know that their "main" mode wint kerp people interested....and it wont, and also if they feel that it would maybe they should do a game that eill have a higher player count and not asymmetrical games where clearly players fint really want and eill abandon after 2 months and as soon as it's released eill have everything unlocked and have nothing else to fo cause the game offers nothing but 1 thing, then the devs are confused why the player count is low, this happens with every single one of these games
