Sounding of the restored World War II air raid siren Ramsgate Tunnels East Cliff today
Never experienced the real thing before and i could feel the vibrations with my feet. Must be scary during the war, especially for children.

This was the noise I was afraid of hearing throughout the 80s (rise and fall, attack warning). Especially after I found that there was a siren behind my village hall, and another on the fire station.
