This was the noise I was afraid of hearing throughout the 80s (rise and fall, attack warning). Especially after I found that there was a siren behind my village hall, and another on the fire station.

Simple. If you say you have a TV then say you have no aerial attached and you use it to watch DVDs or play PlayStation or X Box games.....or just say you have no TV and you refuse them access to the inside of your property, and now you've informed them you have no TV or no need for licence.....STOP the harassment and stop ILLEGALLY broadcasting signals to the and properties without their permission and after they've informed you they don't want a licence as hate breaking a law......surely. and make sure you film it too.

The BBC are the creepiest organisation in the Uk.
A BETTER IDEA WITH MORE FUN........ Put leaflet in an envelope and write TVL adderss. and repost without a stamp TVL will soon get pissed off at having to pay postage. They did with me over a decade ago.

@@chrisrainbow2393 only letter I've had is them phishing ones, with my address one saying it's still not covered by tv licence had about 2 or 3 this year alone and nothing since. I live at some house/block flat if whom also don't pay for licence lmao, and if they ever turned up I would film them on my phone or if battery will die out I would make out I am with flash light on phone to trick them and would refuse to identify myself until they identify themselves first as it's they who are looking and knocking on doors for me not the other way round, and I would then still refuse to identify myself after....ALWAYS refuse to identify yourself and then shut door. Never get into convo to belittle them as it may backfire if you do just deny you have a actual TV set or if you say you do, say you have no aerial attached only a dvd player or PlayStation to play games it's their job to prove I'm broadcasting live TV/BBC on TV set, it's not my job to.prpve or disprove it's their job to do that, and secondly I'm informing them now I don't want a contract with tv. Licence so note that down on your note-pad from today and I suggest you stop ILLEGALY broadcasting/transmitting signals to my address. But that's if your confident and cocky to do so...I would advise to refuse to identify yourself until they identify themselves first then once they do...still don't identify yourself then shut the door.
@@masonmoskovitz1551 The simplest way is to simply shut the door and say nothing, you dont need to explain a thing as they have NO authority at all. The least said the better and the only person that can face prosecution is the person watching live TV, but they wont know this, only by you telling them, so dont get into any conversation at all. All that about aeriels connected etc is irrelevant, non of that matters as they have to prove you have been watching live broadcasts and simply owning a TV. even if they can see it isnt proof enough, its all bluff so keep quiet and they will be stuffed.

This will have been delivered by a utilities meter reader working your area. TVL (Capita) subcontract the threat-o-gram leaflet deliveries. Morrison Data did mine. I gave it him back.
