Top cargo ebikes of 2023: top5ebikes.com/best-cargo-ebikes-2023/
I’m very happy with my cargo bike. Almost a month old. This is a serious bike. It’s not a toy, this bike can be used for cross country.
Here in Albuquerque it is hilly, small hills with wind. One thing I can assure you. The average buyer. You will not get 150 miles.
No way not in the real world. To be safe plan well under 100 miles. PAS 1 or 2 is all you need around town. It’s fast and well geared for a heavy bike.
If you’re getting this bike, get the second battery.
Thanks for the comment & feedback! This is Omar and I lived in Abq! (Went to UNM for grad school!).
I ordered a Cargo ebike from Lectric. It has been over 3 months since they took my money and still no ebike delivered. We have called on 4 different occasions and 4 different times they gave us a delivery date. So we wait around for the deliveries 4 different times all excited about finally getting it delivered. 4 different it did NOT get delivered. So frustrating waiting around when we could have done something else with the time spent waiting. It pisses a person off. We have found out that it is now in Detroit just sitting. Detroit is only 1 hour from our house and 10 minutes off main highway. If they gave me the address and appropriate phone numbers i could pick it up myself. Come on Levi get your shipping straightened out. On top of this when we ordered they charged our card 3 times which created a mess for us to get straight. Lectric makes a nice ebike buthas a ways to go as far as support and shipping. Fix yourself Lectric.
Wow! Sorry to hear about your shipping, delivery and charge issues w Lectric. We received ours earlier this year and what did take a while was the cargo package. Has support been responsive at all? Again, sorry to hear and hopefully Lectric makes this right for you. I can tell you the bike is totally worth it.
Is the throttle on the left
Hi and thanks for the question. The throttle on the right side and it's a half twist throttle.
i know the back is shorter and I too have 2 children, but im hoping to use one yepp in the back and toddler in the front... is that still going to be a problem you think?
In general you want to have your heavier kid in the front bc it's easier to handle (think of center of gravity & weight distribution). Depending on the weight of your kids it may be ok but if the older kid is heavy enough, I'd suggest having your lighter child in the back.
Remove pedal helps keep theif away
Tell Levi that i have been waiting for 3 months and still no delivery and i have received comments from others with trouble getting the delivery of ebike. I paid and they had no problem taking the money. We have contacted them on 4 occasion after being told a deliver date but nothing came on those dates. Very frumstrating waiting around for a delivery only to get disappointed. I know now that it is in detroit which is only 1 hour away and we are only 10 minutes from main highway. I could go there and get it and be back in three hours. Why no delivery. Come on Levi get your shipping act together. This pisses me off
Did you get your ebike already? I hope you have it by now.
You typed "frumstrating" 🤭..sorry,so sorry heheheee....
I just ordered this bike 2 days ago and I hope that your experience is an anomaly and i have my bike by this weekend. I do live in Daytona Beach Florida which is a few miles south of you though.
Did you get your XPedition? Happy Holiday weekend.
@Top5ebikes Yes! I ordered it on the 21st and I had by the 26th.
@@audiwankenobi361 What do you think so far? I actually just started riding the Aventon Abound and both of these cargo ebikes are great. There are some big differences (torque vs cadence, dual battery vs single, price, etc) but I think both are great cargo ebikes.
@Top5ebikes This is my first Ebike and the experience has been really good. I purchased it because of the price in comparison to a few others but I can't imagine yet what is actually better about other bikes in this category.
@@audiwankenobi361 I've had a few of the top cargo ebikes (radwagon, flyer, xpedition, abound, etc)...IMO you bought the one w the most value. There are somethings I wish were different but overall it's a big cargo ebike. Are you carrying children and/pr cargo w your XPedition? If so, let me know how you think it handles w cargo.
Can the motor be upgraded?
to a mid drive do you mean? or the rear hub? I haven't read about an upgrade to this ebike but I'm guessing you can add a second hub (front) easily or even a mid drive.
@Top5ebikes After riding the bike a little bit over 100 miles so far I am not going to upgrade it to try and go faster.
Okay review... only the handlebars are foldable.
Not the sturdiest kickstand at all im 150 miles in and ive tighted it more times then i can count right now..
Thank you for the comment and 100% agree.
If your setup has a flat washer between the split-ring lock washer, remove the flat washer as it completely negates the function of the lock washer.
Or do what I did and replace both with a wedge-lock washer like ones from Nord-Lock since split-ring washers don’t work that well anyway. No issues since.
Buy locktite? Nylock nut?

Anyone who straps kids on the back of an ebike should be arrested for child endangerment.
😘
As opposed to parents that never make their kids go outside and they turn into tubby couch potatoes who die early from cardiovascular diseases. I'm pretty sure that kids that get hauled around on bikes when they are little end up being more active as adults and they live longer on average than the normal American.
@amosbatto3051 this is the dumbest response I've seen in a week.
