But the Warner Bros/American version of Godzilla is meant more for action and mindless fun with giant monsters beating each other up. It’s not meant for anyone to think too much about. So the radiation thing isn’t mentioned a lot in the MonsterVerse, as it’s more purposely left out or not mentioned at all for focus on the action.
did anyone notice that as Godzilla is charging his atomic breath, when his dorsal fins start poking out a little, that his tail was trembling as it happens, it must be a painful thing to happen.
I really hope the dorsals popping is used In future movies, it's so cool and i can't believe no one thought of it earlier. 2014 goji's spines glowing from the tail tip slowly up the back raised the bar for the atomic breath charge up and I think this is the next step up from that.

There's something very haunting about 0:29 with all the people standing and watching this quickly approaching shockwave from the atomic breath. It's like they're in absolute shock that the atomic threat that crippled them in 1945 has happened to them AGAIN, just when they were slowly picking themselves back up. They sat and waited for death to hopefully spare them from this cruel world.
Basically Everyone: "HE'S GONNA DO IT, HERE COMES THE ATOMIC BREATH! I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HOW COOL AND HYPE THIS ONE I-" Godzilla: (Literally atomizes the entire city) Everyone: "... O h..."
I like that they've taken cues from Monsterverse Godzilla by having Minus One Godzilla's dorsal plates glow from his tail to the base of his neck, while he charges up his atomic breath

Shin Godzilla literally incinerated an entire city with his atomic breath. From smoke, to fire, to laser beam. Yet, here we have Minus One. Who did all of that in less than a few minutes
I think you can make a argument for how both may one up each other. On one hand Minutus One is quicker with massive rand and the black rain to make it worse but Shin arguably has more rang when it turns to the lazer and the flame thrower has the city completely ablaze with the same range as Minus One and it stayed ablaze for a good bit.
I love this movie. Upon first watch i had goosebumps from the majority of the scenes like lunge Godzilla chasing the boat, the first skin regeneration, the atomic blast, my God, what a fantastic movie!
Imagine all the hype from a theater from this one scene slowly turn to horror as it serves as a grim reminder of what the King of Monsters is truly capable of

Nothing changed at all. There are 2 versions of Godzilla right now: US and Japan. Their Godzilla are 2 very different themes and meaning, also the roar sounds are different also. This minus one is just the same as the 1954 version, almost nothing changed

Only Toho can make a good Godzilla movie. Because I think that Shin Godzilla and Minus One are Godzilla going back to his roots of the dangers of nuclear weapons/ energy.

Toho does a good job of portraying Godzilla as a force of nature. Hands down, this is the most powerful Atomic Breath out right now.
It's the most destructive breath with Shin's being a fair competitor but as far as most powerful that still goes to FW, Heisei and MV.
