I left Prestwick in 84 when I finished school. My parents moved away a couple of years later so never really went back after that.
It was a good place to grow up. Hasn't changed that much.

Happy days. Used to live on I think 101 main street opposite what was Bumpers Bar. Backing on to the electric bakery great smells in the mornings. Messing about on the airport and the iconic Sand Volcano. Collecting newts and scaring the wee girls with them. Happy times 😄😄😄

I lived in Glenburn when I was a child in the OLD MINERS ROWS which were pulled down to build Langcroft Avenue and Blackford Crescent

There are plenty of bars and restaurants in Prestwick , you certainly wouldn’t die of thirst or starvation , the world’s largest aircraft landed at Prestwick last year

04:15 That used to be Jim Meeks corner shop. Many a paper delivered back in the day. When i started high school. Guy was a legend. Free froddos and space raiders rolls man. :) Those were the days :)
