Thanks for this I did live in the Canongate and Portobello many years ago. Now in Oz.

A couple of years ago for a three day break my Wife and I took the overnight sleeper up to Fort William and it poured with rain with high winds and rain for the three days. A walk up the High Street was how shall I say, an experience! It was a relief to get the overnight sleeper back to London. I must say however all we met were very nice people, as there was no sign of SNP nastiness!

It looks a bit different from the Aviemore Centre I first visited in 1966 soon after it was opened! I skied on the dry slope, ice skated and curled, swam, went to the cinema, had my hair done, bought a jumper there, and later visited Santa Claus Land. I married a local lad who built the Freedom Hotel in the centre, but we now live overseas so it’s great to see this video. Thank you.

I went into 'The Harbour Lights cafe' last week if that counts - Lossiemouth was quiet, free parking and a great beach - that's the sort of place we like to visit.

Visited ELGIN this month......no doubt..its an interesting historical place to visit

I enjoy visiting the town and viewing the wonderful beachfront scenery. Unfortunately, the golf course was closed 41% of the time.

Last time I was on holiday in st Andrew's was August 1983 it still looks as beautiful now as it did then thanks to internet technology and utube which allows us to see all these places

Thanks for the video. Interesting that unlike Oban or Fort William, there don't seem to be any touristy shops, whisky shops or Scottish clothes stores like EWM.

I lived in Clarkston for most of my early life being brought up in Stamperland then married and lived in Clarkston for a fair number of years then moved up to Monifieth in Angus for out retireal. Love it up here so much drier and no midges.

My grandfather had a barber shop on the old Walkinshaw street right next to the pub as you walked round corner ( wee Malky Kerr ) walkinshaw street was demolished approx late 70’s and rebuilt and my grandfathers shop was knocked down also. I was in Fort William for a week in 2015, to see the places where my Cameron ancestors lived. My mum was a proud Cameron. I fell in love with Scotland in general. The places and the people ❤While I was there, I also visited Glasgow and Edinburgh. The places and the people ❤In Fort William I stayed at The Seafield House B&B. Lovely stay.

The 90s was the golden era for East Kilbride town center. Today it's a great place for alcoholics and pensioners to keep warm and get pished, it's like a giant rotastak adventure zone for the neds, and the weekends offer the taxi-rank skank where the young drunks duke it out a prized "hippo's yawn."

I lived in Johnstone till I was 19yrs lived in John Land Street , Johnstone is full of history ,thank you for bringing back memories ,my young brother still lives there
