This magnificent teaching on Romans 5:1 has to be one of the most comprehensive teachings on salvation from God’s wrath through Jesus Christ. The Gospel (the Good News of salvation) is so clearly explained in this one teaching by the use of God’s word. The power of the Holy Spirit was and is at work in this teaching. It has the spirit-driven power to save unbelievers and the power to grow believers in the knowledge and love of God. The depth of essential doctrine and theology imparted in this one teaching is truly amazing. God provided this teaching and He is greatly glorified by it. His people are lavishly blessed by the truths imparted in this amazing one-hour teaching….and through it, God is glorified. What a grace of God to have this joyful message of God’s truth available to all. I praise You, God, for this gift and humbly express my gratitude by lifting up the cup of salvation in worship of You. Give me the strength and desire, Lord, to share this message with as many unbelievers and believers as I can. Thank you Dr. Lawson and Kent Stainback for your faithful work to bring us the Men’s Bible study of Romans and now in 1John.

I realize how arrogant I was before that I didn't see the wrath of God upon me as I just do whatever I pleased. This session gave me a deeper appreciation of what it means to be at peace with God. His Holy wrath was truly for me, but Jesus, the perfect one took it all... so I can be one with the Father. 😭 what an amazing, loving, righteousness, just, holy and merciful God we have. Thank you Lord for the justification and declaring me righteous in your eyes. 🥺🙏
Dr. Lawson... thank you for Passion ministries and sharing this with us online. What a privilege to be hearing such great teaching that opens us to the truth that it may humble us before our Holy God. I am at peace with God. 🥲🙏

Dr Lawson needs a Facebook fan page but not with those elegant awe inspiring quotes like John MacArthur but ones like “ you stayed behind the steering wheel and kept the Lord in the trunk” 😂😂😂

What is the wrath of God, then?

@@matthewburnette9674 the wrath of God is the punishment or results from rejecting God but the wrath is not eternal or eternal suffering - the wrath results in death read Romans 6.23 and Gen. 3.19....Eze. 18. 4 says the soul that sins will "DIE." as does Rom. 6.23....God is love...also read MAl. 4.1-3 and Eze. 28.18-19 and psalm 37. 20...KJV

I read this quote - God's wrath is his love in action against sin - so if a person embraces sin both he and the sin will experience God's act of destruction against that sin - Hebrews 12.29 says that God is a consuming fire - so the sinner destroys himself by stepping outside the will or laws of God...but the final act of God's wrath is annihilation of the sin and sinner - he does not burn or punish people forever., if he did - Hitler would just be a misunderstood saint. Most churches teach eternal hell fire but what is eternal are the consequences of the fire and not the fire....READ - the book - the fire that consumes by William Edward Fudge and you will learn that hell is annihilation - we go back tot he dust from where we came
