I have no clue why a bunch of grown people can't maintain or keep a vehicle they bought in good condition. It is not hard at all, but a lot of people are so lazy and don't want to do anything, then wonder why their vehicles keep breaking down or having issues. Lastly, a lot of these people just buy cars nowadays to make them look worse and can't modify them tastefully to make them better. 😂

What you said about Washington is true, we do tend to use sand over salt, but also Yakima is in Eastern Washington so its a lot drier there overall because any fronts are blocked by the mountains.

In the NW we don't pre-salt the roads. It snows typically every other year most places and we might use salt to clean it up. Rust really isn't a big issue here.

29:10 Omfg Ive met that dude when I was in north carolina this summer. I roadtripped and picked up an exhaust for my e36 in Wilson NC back in June this year and hiked Mt.Mitchell in Asheville North Carolina that same weekend.
I took my exhaust up the peak of the mountain to commorate the trip/took a picture, and him and his buddy with an E46 drove up the mountain to the peak for pics.
W Car/owner if I hadn’t bought my E36 I would have that 240.

We don’t use salt in the NW so our cars last a whole lot longer. Also people in the Midwest buy older trucks from the North and south west to bring and flip for more money in the Midwest. Also #rustyassatlas
I work for a shop in Las Vegas in the mid 2000s and we did a 300 front end on a magnum. Same fenders, we just swapped the cor support light bezel bumper and grill. It was all black and look really slick for the time.

I’ve seen that 1992 NSX in person. The owner(if it’s not sold) was apart of team akatsuki which got disbanded and turned into team tensei. Anyways they host a yearly meet in hickory nc and I’ve seen that nsx there and I’ve seen it around Newton/hickory area. Definitely looks 10X better in person but it’s still too much of a time attack vibe.

Yakima is pretty dry overall. Lots of winery's and orchards in the county. You worry more about dry and cracked lines than rust around here.

I have some doubts about the 91 Civic wagon from college. Usually these cars are preproduction and cannot be subsequently titled.

14:19 theres tons of swaps that people have done, looking up plymouth prowler 5.7 swap lead me to one with a 6.1l, a hellcat engine, and even one with an ls7
The ls7 swap uses a porsche g50 5 speed manual transaxle, out of the 87-89 carrera 3.2
The 6.1 swap used the stock 4 speed with some upgrades, higher gear ratio, torque converter, flex plate, some other stuff
The hellcat swap is a little more interesting on the transmission side, it has a 2 gear powerglide like some drag racing cars use. The rear diff is a limited slip getrag unit and “sticks” (im guessing thats axles) from an srt8 challenger
