- Does the perfect bag actually exist? In this video that is the question I stout to answer. For my one of my all time favorite bags has always been The WANDRD Prvke. It's a bag that is not only dependable but also very functional and practical in most situations. Come along with me as we dive into what makes this bag so special and worthy of the title of "PERFECT"

What's your favorite part of The WANDRD PRVKE?
Great video. Thanks for having me ✌️😊
Thanks for having me on Odie!
Loved having your opinion in this!
Been eyeing up this bag for some time. I have the Nomatic / McKinnon 25L and that’s as close to perfect that I’ve seen. But this PRVKE would likely be right up there. Next sale, I’ll likely grab one.
Currently deciding on the 3/6/9L sling, and consolidating 7 bags down to 3 🫣🙂
Nice, I like the material WANDRD uses (I've only owned the Duo and their Tech pouches), they do a good job with the shoulder straps and handfeel too. For my photography, I went with something very similar, but I personally don't really ever see myself side swinging a backpack on one shoulder, so side access is pointless for me, I'd prefer the sides be used for tripod/bottle holders. I use a Tenba DNA 16, which sort of has a drawer access which works better when the bag is taken off and put down standing up. I never liked the idea of having to lay the bag on its front or back to access, takes up too much space, fine for travel bags used in a hotel but not out in public. I've taken that bag to Alaska and Greece, its my photography go to. But I'm always buying bags if I find a good deal, so someday lol.
Love this!
Someone on the DARK MATTER Production Design team loves the bag too. Lol.
Little late on the commenting on this, I really enjoy my PRVKE, and have flown with it as my only bag on dozens of trips. The main problem I have with it is a big one, the whole carrying system leaves a lot to be desired. Bags like mystery ranch 2dap are hard to go back from when I switch back to the PRVKE it feels like a totally underwhelming shoulder strap system. I still go for the PRVKE often, but if I am going to be putting in the miles with the pack on it is not my pick.
TL;DR: Wandrd please make the shoulder straps into a nice yolk system and I’ll buy another PRVKE.
PRVKE you know my response. My favorite camera bag to travel with.
Of the 30 or so bags I’ve bought over the past 5 years this was by far my least favourite bag. I was sooo excited to get it and over the first couple trips I took it on my opinion shattered. Number 1, it was the least comfortable bag I have ever wore. My normal travel carry with this bag made my shoulders ache like nothing else. With my PD bag I can use it for 30k steps and I get sore but don’t have to take it off. The PVKE I had to take off my back every 20-30 minutes. Maybe it was just not compatible is the my frame.
I love the look of this bag but without a camera cube just putting a jacket in it makes it lose its shape and turn into a blob.
The general workflow of this bag just didn’t work for me which goes to show that while there may be a perfect bag for you there isn’t a bag that’s perfect for everyone.
I have this bag. If you travel with this it isn’t great. If you pack one camera with just 2 lenses then you ll be fine. But if you bring a drone too it’ll be hard. There simply isn’t enough room. You’ll have to shove a controller or drone in through top portion. The 31L is massive, if you fill up the bag, most airlines will make you check in your carry on, bc the wandrd will not be allowed to be put under your seat. If you want to add more batteries or rigs, it’s impossible.
Do you have a text version of the tier list available?
I can make that!
Be careful if you buy the backpack in Australia as spare parts are not stocked. I lost chest band as shown in the video, and WNDRD was $5 used to replace and $100 USD to post! Outrageous, find a better supplier because the chest strap is easily lost!
This is v1?
wandrd prvke was the worst bag I've ever used..used it for two trips and gave it away on offerup not good for travel at all every pocket is hard to get into and the gap between shoulder straps and bag itself makes it drag back making it extremely uncomfortable all my opinion/experience
Everyone has their own experiences but I gotta say yours seems rare unfortunately. Sucks this was the one you had on this bag :/
I sold my prvke because it always seemed heavy and I only carried a go pro and a rangefinder camera on trips. The only thing I really liked were the straps. They were comfortable. Bought a tenba, a lighter pack
Have you tried Shimoda backpacks? They're known for exceptional comfort. Curious how it compares to the Prvke.
