My dividend journey began when I realized that two particular expenses in my budget were always going to go up and never go down. The two expenses were taxes and insurance. I realized that the dramatic rise in both will need some added income. So, I started buying shares paying dividends. I can now see that this will be the path I need to take to make sure those two expenses will not overtake my future income.
As a beginner, educate yourself, Learn the basics of investing and the stock market. There are many resources available online, including books, articles, and online courses. It’s a good idea to diversify your portfolio across different stocks and sectors to minimize risk. I’ve heard of people accruing over $550k during recessions and inflation, its important to do your own research.
A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850K.
This is definitely considerable! think you could suggest any professional/advisors i can get on the phone with? I'm in dire need of proper portfolio allocation.
My dad bought 400 shares of Nvidia 10 years ago for $6 a share. Unfortunately, he sold it all two years ago for $200 a share and got $80,000. If he didn't sell, his $2,000 investment would be worth over $400,000 now.
I wish I had 10M!! My buddy has been pushing me since 2016. Finally got in for 1000 in Jan of '20 at 60 a share(actually, 250, but 4-1 split, so...1000 NOW, 1000 then I'd be a lot closer to 10M!). Liquidated my Real Estate investments and put another 3500 shares into NVDA starting in last Sept...but I'm worried that the expectations are getting... a little unrealistic. 10X per Forbes? 1000 a share by Q1 of Fiscal year '26? If THAT happens....then yeah, 10M and...way past that. That'd also mean it was roughly the size of the US GDP, so....either GREAT news for the entire US or maybe a bit overly optimistic!
The important part here is that Luscious Liz as usual, is a stunner. I dont know how Josh and the Judge keep it together. Christ and today we've got some favorable buttonage on the blouse too. I'd sell all my NVDA and invest in VHS players if she told me to.
Steve is not making a lot of coherent sense lately. He 's not expressing his views clearly which makes me wonder if he actual has a plan. Sounds like he's all over the place.
It’s not hype when your company makes the hardware equivalent of neurons for AI. Anyone not living under a rock realizes AI is already revolutionizing pharmaceutical research, the automotive sector, medicine, personal computers, computer programming, the music industry, the movie industry and on and on. It’s driving the economy forward right now, and NVIDIA is driving the AI revolution.
Remember that just not that while ago, you had a completely worthless Dogecoin meme crypto that had valuation of 100 billion dollars, that should put lots of things in perspective for you and we're talking about irreplicable and irreplaceable company for years to come when comes to gen-ai chips and gaming chips and who knows what else will they do in future.
@@RoganJoeExperience The only reason they even initiated such a small dividend is that some funds (that buy NVIDIA) mandate that the stock have a dividend. If funds didn't mandate it then NVIDIA probably wouldn't have it at all. And as we all know, NVIDIA doesn't need one since a single day's stock price increase is worth more then an entire year's worth of dividends.
Those that weren't smart enough to buy always look for the outliers and fringe reasons not to buy. Not the 20 good and realistic reasons that they should buy.
The problem with Tesla is that for YEARS they haven’t been a profitable company. Nvidia is booming, and there are literally no signs of it slowing down
People like to buy at one price and sell at a much higher price. Thats the appeal. Also, what they are making is essentially the neurons to the brains of AI. AI is the future. People recognize that. IBMs growth rate is not great compared to NVIDIA.
I glad to have an adviser who is excellent in what he's doing , you changed my entire life and I will continue to preach and song your praises on your behalf for the whole world to hear you saved me from huge financial debt with just a small investment, thank you Bruce Murdock Advisory!!!!..
I was owing a loan of $192,000 to my bank , no longer in debt after I invested $25,000 and got my payout several times for the past two months. God bless Bruce Murdock...

Just research the name Angela Lynn Shilling. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.
Thank you for this Pointer. It was easy to find your handler, She seems very proficient and flexible. I booked a call session with her.
Keep buying and keep getting wealthier, thats the playbook.
It's like everyone sold their stocks just so they could buy Nvidia today.
it’s doing what TSLA did during covid…. people dumped their losers to jump in a winner…

$80,000 is nothing to sneeze at. The hardest part about being a stock trader is to know not when to buy a share, but when to sell it
need to buy back now before it really grew out of the price u wanna buy at
Actually it would be worth more split-adjusted.
$10 million in nvidia. 🤞🤞🤞🙏

Down Town Josh Brown looking good and ready for JPMorgan 3.5 🏃🏼!
NVDA 💚🖤📈
what happend in market
It just keeps going up.
I have 4,157 Nvidia shares and of course I'm not selling any for at least 3 years.
What price(s) did you buy in at and when?
Not far behind you ron with 3,700.
If you sold all of that for $1,050 a share, you’d get more than 4.3 million dollars. That is insane. You could easily live out a modest life with that
too went 190.01 yesterday.

That’s gold, Jerry. Gold!
🤣

Hey all, in search of a tool to automate Solana token buying. Any suggestions?

Why wouldn’t you buy after the split?
Market is down 700 and they are talking about a 10 to 1 stock spilt. Just a smaller piece of the pie.
If you’re retail you have no one to answer to… Well…..
I feel like it's too early to get my hopes up. I won't write about it because it's a trade secret, but the growth of related industries is unclear.
Exactly NVIDIAa growth depends on its customers - they aren’t reaping the rewards of the investment
Savings on electric to replace what's already in place.
Stock tip.
Buy and hold
At 28 Billion and 112 billion per year. Valuation 2.6trillion. Thats like 23 times sales. CNBC is the ultimate hype machine.

NVDA was < $1 in early 2000's and so was AAPL What happens if the boom cycle is over?
Then late comers with high hopes (like me) will lose out.
Same thing that happened the last three downcycles, the stock will rebound and be higher than before. Up 131,000% since IPO
NVDA was a gpu only company in those days and nothing else.
Poor investors (literally) always look for reasons not to buy.....
What happens if the boom cycle is over?
Then it become the Kaboom cycle 🤣
Josh was partying last night 🤣🤣🧐😎
State is dividend reinvestment locally however
Yes, Life is not meant to be fair. It never was, never is and will never always be fair, so now what? Why should life be fair to you?
10 to 1 split. Are they preparing for share buyback?
Replace quarterly dividend with quart Buyback
They already have a 25 Billion share buyback program in place.
Fosho I’m saying it’s way more impactful than a few cents and soon 1 cent per share for investors quarterly

If those funds have more impact on the stock than 4 billion added in buybacks cool I’ll stfu but 🤷♂️
only rate cuts used help the stock market. This time with all this inflation shouldn't help
Scott..
Don’t trade. .

nvda to the moon!
🌑
Wait till apple and MSFT push processing down to devices 😂🤣🤣
Beware of 1:10 stock split. That means more retail sellers driving the price down same like Tesla!!!
The problem with Tesla is that for YEARS they haven’t been a profitable company. Nvidia is booming, and there are literally no signs of it slowing down
Stock market need rate hike talk gone.
i notice IBM makes more revenue than NVDA currently.
People like to buy at one price and sell at a much higher price. Thats the appeal. Also, what they are making is essentially the neurons to the brains of AI. AI is the future. People recognize that. IBMs growth rate is not great compared to NVIDIA.
IBWho?
IBM, great buy in 1981
IBM had their Nvidia moment over 30 years ago, the same with Intel
I keep ibm on my watch list. It’s good for dividend portfolios.
I'm not. I am in commodities. History 70's 80's inflation. We have inflation that they can't defeat. Inflation on a rocket. Nvidia will be worthless.
josh brown is so full of $***
it is not helping stock market
That is ridiculous. Of course it is.
