    We can still run this type of long trains by keeping passenger trains in loop lines but waiting time for passenger trains must be kept minimum by matching the timing 😊

    The question you referred at start of your vdo...were also comments on fb post of Shri Piyush Goyal. I didn't had any info about different loco but I had responded almost same that this was perfect experiment for coordinating loco together.. good you made this vdo with additional information. 👌👍

    This kind of trains will be very useful in moving crowds from Mumbai to various destinations in UP. A combined train could run- non stop from CST to Itarasi and then split and go to various places in UP and vice versa, thus saving track occupancy hugely.

    Amit, this is the best video with all the information about the controlling of Nine (WAG5, 7 & 9) locomotives. Iam watching your videos daily and this video is outstanding. In the news there was no explanation how 2.8km train with 251 BOXN rakes was controlled. Only one additional point is in each front locomotive will have 2 loco pilots since the journey was for 6 hours nonstop. Iam wondering why WAG9 which is having very advanced technology was not kept in the front of the train as main locomotive. Also would like to know when 9 locomotives with each above 4K HP was pulling the load, whether there was any voltage fluctuations occurring. This is a great achievement for Indian Railways employees who had planned and executed it.

    Why 3 different types of locomotive used in this train?
    Similar type of Engines have same amount of torque. No stress would have developed due to variation in torque if all engines were of similar kind...?

      Because the absolute purpose is to create a utility, not just a record. Four different goods-train coming from different zones at a junction can collaborate and proceed to another junction where they can disperse and further proceed at different directions.

      From my way ...all are same locomotives ..as given that ...all are WAG locomotives ...means ....Wide Guage AC traction Goods locomotive ......made only for goods coach... thanku 🙏

      WAG9- 100kmph
      WAG7- 100kmph
      Power generation
      WAG5 - 3850HP
      WAG9- 6120HP
      WAG7- 5000HP
      Tractive effort
      WAG5- 330kN
      WAG7- 410kN
      WAG9- 460kN
      There are other many differences. The reason of using different locomotives was to test weather this is possible without any problem or not.
