Looks like cheap vinyl fencing with Amazon DIY brackets. Pre drill and adhere bolts inside the vinyl to catch when installing. This kits mark up over outsourced materials plus you have to build it yourself.

Does this have to be secured like say if you were putting it on your pool deck would you have to screw into it?
It is better to secure it with bolts to either a wood deck or to a cement patio pad.
Love how fast you did it. It took me more time and felt like a loser. The only thing that was fast was Mounted my 40” tv in 5 minutes on my pergola using the ZeboZAP tv mount.
ZeboZAP outdoor tv mount is really good for gazebo’s and pergolas

Look for a pergola bracket kit. Add 4x4 posts. Costs a lot less

These kits are stupid expensive. Easier and $1000 cheaper to notch posts and mount them directly together. This kit is faster, but not by much. If a couple of hours is worth more than the cost of the kit, then this kit is not for you.

Deffo cheaper to buy lumber and build your own. Takes a little longer but if built right, it'll be stronger/more robust. The bonus is, you can customize it to your exact dimensions and type/size lumber.
