Hi, I'm Charlotte Dobre. I'm an actor, reactor, singer and sometimes (not really) comedian. On this channel I do reactions, commentary and occasionally I make a joke or two. I love poking fun at social media, weddings, entitled people, tiktok and OF COURSE petty people. I upload daily, usually 7 days a week, unless life gets crazy or I get lazy. Come hang out, it's a good time.

I love how some people are just now learning that the tire company is the one responsible for the star ratings for restaurants.
i am one of them
Wtf #mindblown
I never thought to look it up but I find it more odd that somehow I just knew.
I'm surprised too bcuz who hasn't heard of the Michelin Man??
I just found out too but then again I have never been too interested in that stuff
I am a former WalMart employee. Once, an elderly African American couple came in. Calm as the dead of night, the gentleman told me someone had stolen their truck. I grabbed the phone to dial 911 and asked him what his truck looked like. He said all I had to do was look outside because the thief was driving it round and round the parking lot! This dude was so calm and matter of fact the whole time! Luckily there was a policeman in the store who recovered the vehicle safely. It was some teen taking a joy ride, and I don’t think the couple even pressed charges.
Nah I'd press charges🤷♀️ just because I work hard for the money to buy my car and no little brat is taking it for fun
@Justin Koch yeah learnt that nothing would happen
Yes grandpa, we DO need to lock the car doors. Yes, every time!
I would have pressed charges to let the little shit know there are CONSEQUENCES.
They're black. Stop being retarded.
“That’s not a bombastic side eye, that’s a whole blank stare” basically nailed the situation, along with her cousin…
I’ll see myself out now.
too soon.
Bahaha!!!
I thought it was only white folks in Alabama. I just learned something new 🤔🤷🤭
Incest does not discriminate 🤷😅
"They didn't leave you, you stayed" had me dying the whole day. Big love Char. X
The guy playing piano at church reminds me of when my husband used to help fix church pipe organs by playing a song while the other guy tuned the pipes. Since he thought no one else was there, he thought it would be funny to start playing the Exorcist theme… in a Catholic Church. But then the priest walked in and my husband is pretty sure he was excommunicated 😂😂
If I could play it I would have. Those organs are magnificent.
Wait how did the priest knows the Exorcist theme song? 🤔
And here I thought he was gonna play "Sympathy For Th Devil" 😂
I wanna hear that on a massive church organ..
😂😂😂
Charlotte learning where the Michelin star rating comes from was fucking adorable.
That last one though...... what in the Game of Thrones did we just see??? 💀
We are beyond shooketh 💀🗿
That last one was a whole lot of yuck.
Wait until she finds out what Alfred Nobel was best known for before he created the Nobel Prizes (especially the Nobel Peace Prize)...
He's the inventor of dynamite and an explosive device called a blasting cap.💥
My god, just because she went there with him doesn’t mean she left with him 🙂
Yeah , but she left with his baby🎉😮
😂 Charlotte's reaction alone to the prom moment is gonna stay rent free in my head for a long time.
I heard banjos when Charlotte read out "Going to prom with my cousin.." & I was correct. 🙊🙉🙈
That was, the best!
🎶SWEET HOME ALABAMA🎶
Charlotte hun, I wouldn't try and make fun of Alabama when you literally live in the crappiest country ever 🤣🤣🤣. Roll tide y'all 🖕
For anyone that’s never taken a cruise… they actually are docked for a looooooong time before leaving. You would have to be VERY STUPID OR VERY VERY LATE to miss the ship leaving. I’ve seen people running to make it, and they still let them on.
Here's the story: to promote their shops, michelin started to suggest good restourants nearby their shops (like "ehy people, while u wait for your tires to be repaired/replaced, go to this faboulus resturant"). After this all the resturant owners wanted to be in the michelin guides because it was a big client boost and free publicity (and then becouse of the huge demand, michelin had to open a section specialized in food)
The specialized section is even funnier : they started recommending "restaurants worth crossing the country for" so people would use their tires and replace them more often 😂😂 nifty
@@svenjaj.3520 Genius. And hilarious 😂
I ALWAYS THOUGHT IT WAS JUST A COINCIDENTAL NAME?!
It also gives rich people places to drive to so they need to buy tires.
The Walmart employees absolutely losing their ever loving MINDS laughing at the theif leaving their shoe behind, though? That completely made my day.
Don't worry he will be back for a new pair. Lol
That was hands down my favorite clip. That woman recording it was having the time of her life lol.
My favorite part is that it looked like the TV mightve almost not fit. Like, yall didnt measure first? And then you enter from the wrong side so you obviously didnt know where the car was. And then the girl fell out.
Just the levels of "yall arent even trying anymore, huh?"
🎉 today years old!
As a former Walmart employee there is definitely some funny shit that happens. The Garden Center and the fitting rooms were the funniest places in my store. We were told not to chase after thieves but the department manager of the garden center one day basically said just 'screw it' when a thief took off with two big screen TV's and a bunch of DVD's/Blu-Rays, etc. and she friggin' HIGHTAILED it after him! You could see him panic when she was catching up and he just abandoned the cart. We were watching and laughing our asses off! x'D
6:55 The ship HOLDS your passport. You don't have it with you while you are wandering the port city. Pretty much whoever misses being on the ship on time is going to have to deal with the local embassy and get a flight back home.... in a week to 3 months. You're only leaving after they get your replacement passport to the embassy. (or the cruise line sends it)
Why would you leave your passport on the ship??
If I'm getting off in a foreign country, my passport is coming with me.
I don’t know what cruise you’ve been on but we’ve never had our passports taken and held on the ship (like at least 8 different cruises)! It was literally a requirement to take our passports with us as a form of identification for getting on and off the boat and also for situations like this where you miss the boat and need to fly to the next port 😂
When I lived in Cozumel, I worked in a cruise ship terminal, and legit the amount of people I watched people run for the ship, dragging their children, their shopping bags, their food, everything was honestly hilarious. If I had a dollar for every time it happened, I'd have...well, a few dollars.
The kids scraping the ice off? MANY years ago, my oldest two offered to wash our old car. Sure. Didn't realise that at 8/9 years they didn't know not to use bleach. They used an entire bottle on the bonnet (hood). That's when we discovered our old green Landrover had been grey in a past life.
Oh boy
I think that could be the primer. 😢😅
@@jmev.4732 definitely primer
That flipping the bird before realizing "Oh, shit god DEFINITELY saw me do that" clip got me 🤣🤣🤣
That was hilarious! It just flipped the switch when he realized. So much said in so little time, and yet nothing at all.
I did something similar as a teenager. At 16 while bleaching and dying my hair blue (Dad wasn't home but knew what we were doing), my friend doing the bleaching/dyeing thought I looked cool with the bleach blonde hair so we snapped a few pics with my dad's camera, including one where I flipped the bird with both hands...this was in ye olden days when cameras were still all film. I immediately panicked, but I wasn't going to ruin Dad's pictures over one questionable one; he'd be WAY more pissed about the lost photos than the vulgarity. 😅 I don't think that roll ever got developed anyway, lol! We probably still have some exposed rolls sitting up in our coat closet. 😂
@@Just1Nora oh, God, the stash of unknown, long-forgotten pictures 🤣 I'm sure now it'd be something to laugh over but knowing how strict my parents were when I was growing up ( I couldn't read Harry Potter until about 10th grade, couldn't date until I was 18,etc thankfully, my 'rents have chilled out A LOT) I can just imagine the panic when you realize what happened 😱☠😆
I love watching people run to not be late for a cruise. It’s even better when hundreds of people are also there with you. On my first cruise, two girls were running to make it back on time. The dock was really long so we didn’t think they’d make it. They jumped on in the last dying moments before they shut and locked the doors and made it through security. Everybody who were on the balconies was cheering for them the entire time. It was a very fun experience.
My three year old took a piece of rebar to my brand new van. I had to keep telling myself that, "Yeah, he knew it was naughty, but no worse than if he'd taken a crayon to the wall." We hadn't even made the first payment yet. Called the dealership and said that I needed a new paint job so that I could forgive him. They were really nice and just buffed it out for no charge. Logan is still with us.
So, my late uncle was a paint and body specialist and had his own shop where he would work on and paint cars. He had a corvette (his baby-think Dean Winchester and his car) and it was a custom color he painted it. Well, my 4 year old self decided it was the perfect place to play tic tac toe on with my "imaginary friend"
I can't begin fathom what made me think it was a good idea.
The funny thing is, I didn't get into trouble because my uncle was laughing so hard at it and he said to my mom "I can't get onto her, she won every damn game" 😂 💀 I miss him so much. He was taken too soon. He was my favorite uncle. And I was apparently his favorite niece according to the shit I got away with 😂
He truly loved you. Not many men would laugh.
Wth Ashley?! 😂. I’m glad he saw humour in it. Cool dude
I inherited my dad's beloved 1970 era Oldsmobile in the late 1990s. It ran great, but needed paint, new vinyl top, and headliner. I did the headliner myself using leopard print velvet and made a tiny crystal chandelier to replace the interior dome light. I had a padded white vinyl top installed, and the car painted a brilliant sparkly peacock blue. It was a pimped-out ride!
We had an ice storm soon after, and my 6 year old son used an abalone shell to scrape the ice off my car with a 3 week old expensive metal flake paint job.
Yes, he's still alive but I was not pleased with his "help".
He was a paint and body specialist so he could repaint it himself. He didn't have to pay someone to do it. That likely contributed to why he wasn't angry. My father did the same work and explained how cheap it was to do the work yourself... the markup on paint and autobodybwork is crazy.
What a great man! Sorry for your loss.
Can we get a round of applause for Charlottes editors?! They’re DELIVERING!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

I was just thinking earlier today as I was driving through Salem (the capital of Oregon) that in the 8th grade I had to memorize the capital of every state in the US. Then I remembered learning that the capital of each state was chosen to NOT be in the largest city, the reason is that no one wanted big city politics to interfere with state politics. Translates on a larger scale as well. Love you Charlotte!
Didn't work in Indiana, the capital here is Indianapolis which is the largest city here.
Cruise Story: I was on a cruise to Bermuda. My roommate didn't make the ship. She'd never been to Bermuda before but she got someone to drive her across the island to our next port of call. I have no idea how she managed that.
“Montreal is not the capital of Canada. Quebec is a province. Toronto is a shithole.” I’m dead.
Funny part is Quebec is also a city .
No lies on that last fact
@@PM-of3fn I'm not Canadian, could you please explain why? Also why did Potato Queen say visiting Toronto is not a good idea right now?
@@andrearodriguez1895 I was there just a couple days ago. Nothing crazy happening that I know of other than the regular things that happen in big cities

I've always wondered where that one shoe discarded that you see in random places comes from.... now I know! 🤣
Charlotte was so pissed at that woman for being late to her cruise ship 😂
Fun facts with Charlotte needs to be an actual segment lol.
I thought the exact same thing, yes!!!!!😁
The story about the cruise ship leaving you behind, I have a story as well 😅 I was on a short cruise, Helsinki - Stockholm - Helsinki a couple of years ago. I had 4 hours on land in Stockholm before the ship would leave. I looked at a map and planned my route back to the ship well on time. I started walking along the route and I was closing in on the port. What I didn't realize was that the street I was on was up on a high cliff (the buildings were so tall that they obscured the view), and suddenly I saw the port and the ship waaaayyyy down below me. I panicked because I had no idea how I would get down there on time. On the map I was really close to the ship, but not in reality. I stopped and thought for a bit, and then ran the fastest I could back along the edge of the cliff. I noticed a staircase going down the cliff a couple of hundred meters back, so I ran down the stairs, ran along the port and didn't stop running until I was by the info desk onboard. I had to elbow my way through slow-moving retired people on their way to another cruise ship and had to literally jump over a couple of bags in the way, but I barely made it back. It felt like I had run a marathon. I went straight for the shower in my cabin, then took a nap and then I went to the bar to down some drinks as a celebration that I made it back on time 😂 My route looked so good on a map but not in reality...
Times you wish you'd had a topographical map too. 😅
@@Just1Nora Indeed 😆 well, I learned from my mistake. I have been back to Stockholm many times (and even lived there) since then, and nowadays I make sure I'm closer to sea level when approaching the port 😅
OJ Simpson? Living your hertz glory days? Good for you! Seriously though, after running along a cliff, I would've had to finish that run from a chair! Good job!

The capital of Idaho used to be Lewiston, but same...no one goes there, so they moved it to Boise and now all of Lewiston is pressed to the point they recreated the capital building and put up a sign that said, "Original capital of Idaho." They hang onto that so hard 😂

8:53... Yes, Michelin created a travel book back in the day... recommending nice spots to have a meal.
I will argue that I was in a position where the tour guide at least should have called the ship for an emergency. When I was 14 in 2008, my family went on a European cruise and went on an excursion to Pompeii (about an hour bus ride from the port ) and I ended up getting lost and separated from my family for about 30-45 , and this was before international cellphone plans or smartphones with translation apps were a thing, so I was relying on the one year of Latin I had taken to try and navigate the modern area and to try and find the group/my family. Meanwhile, my mom was trying to show the carabinieri photos of me from earlier that day on her digital camera so they knew what to look for, but none of us knew any Italian and the tour guide didn't understand enough English to know what was happening or help, so she was trying to convince everyone (including my family) to all get back on the bus and go to the port without me. The way it ended up, the other members of the tour group had to hold my dad back from punching her. I was able to find my brother and join the group again about 20 minutes later, but if the tour guide had her way, I could have stayed stuck there or worse.
Once I was so mad on a cruise. We were on a bus after an excursion and we had to wait for a couple a long time. And got back late, but as it was a cruise excursion the ship had to wait. Meanwhile when the couple came back (finally) the woman had to show everyone the great big rock her husband bought her hence the lateness. I almost said "then I guess you could have afforded a flight to the next stop" but I held my tongue.
You're better than me. I would have said it
I was reading and thought you meant a literal rock. I was thinking it was a hiking excursion and that the rock was something that had sentimental value. I was thinking, "what the f*ck? They held up the boat for that?!" But then it clicked and everything made sense. 😂
Wow, that was so selfish! I definitely would have made the comment lol.
My husband and I started rewatching the Matrix a couple of weeks ago. We only got to the first one so far (we have a 2 year old and can't stay up late like we used to.) Last night I told him we should watch the second one tonight when she goes to bed. And Now You're talking about the Matrix. My husband is next to me and said "see we Are in the Matrix." 🙃
Also rewatched the Matrix trilogy last week… felt a gargantuan glitch there Potato Queen😂
I would bet that 5 out of 10 Americans couldn’t tell you the Capitol of The USA let alone Canada. I’m American by the way.
11:25 perfect squeak
Everytime she talks about late people I blush. I'm either SUPER early or kinda late. I can't drive, I have a seizure disorder. Relying on other people is hard. Even when it's Uber or a taxi. I don't do it on purpose
Charlotte is an actor and in drama school they drum it into you over and over to never, ever be late. That’s possibly where she’s coming from.
@@becp488 Sooo true. One of my drama teachers used to say: ''If you are right on time, you are late'' Because if you arrive flush you aren't mentally ready yet/have to settle down and stuff. Yet again, while I was on time in classes, I never bought into it. For me 5-10min is not late if I have to meet people, it's not much time. (whether me or the other)
5:25 the tv theft video is funny af. She fell her thieving ass out of the car, and then lost her carpet slipper, like, that’s not even a real shoe. 😂😂😂😂😂 She’s stealing in her slippers 🤣🤣🤣 She should have just worn a robe and kept her hair in curlers too.
One of the best parts of a port day on a cruise, is sitting on the balcony 5 minutes before anchors up and just watching the live drama. 🍿👌🏻
I'm just glad that my dad doesn't do cruises or flights that often, just drives everywhere, otherwise he'd miss so many flights. We would plan the night before a road trip to leave at 7am, and we would actually leave at 10am instead. I think the only way he was able to be on time in his Navy days is because he had to be aboard two days prior.
What's worse is that my younger brother is just as blase about time keeping. Literally was just getting out of bed 5 minutes before being taken to school, and he still wants to take a shower first. How he keeps his tee time when he goes golfing is beyond me.
Noted.
@@benwagner5089 Yeah - cruises definitely sound like they’re NOT a for them. 😅🙈
you singing, "Sweet home Alabama" is exactly my reaction for this sort of stuff too!! lmao
We have been on many cruises and although I’ve never been late, I can understand how someone could get very confused since the ship is constantly telling you to set your clocks back or forward to match the time changes. Especially if you are a first timer.
I’m not from Canada, but my dad travels to Canada a lot and he came up with a song to remember the capital of Canada. It’s very straightforward it goes “ AHHHHHH-TOE-WAAAAAA (Ottawa) ITS THE CAP-EH-TAL (Capital) OF CAN-AH-DEE-Ah (Canada, but said funny)”
Why do I feel this is sung to the tune of "Oh Canada"?
I bet that TV they stole was broken with how the cart got tipped!😂
It tipped over and hit the pavement, then she tried to run with it and dropped it (second hit), shoved it into the backseat as hard as possible, third hit. Yeah, something definitely cracked on that. There's going to be a spiderweb somewhere on the screen, and it will probably show up within a few hours of hooking it up.
I wouldn't be surprised if they had one of their friends try to return it to another store because it was 'damaged' and demand a refund.
broken and they still tried to return it for a refund
Sadly, her one shoe costs more than that TV.

Tardiness is a huge pet peeve of mine. My mom made us late for everything when I was growing up. She would be two hours late for a party. As soon as I started driving and taking myself places without her, I come 15 minutes earlier than expected!!! Lateness is so rude.

lmao the late for the cruise one....the one and only time ive ever been on a cruise it was because my grandparents wanted my mum and i along so they arraged everything...3 days in and we decide that on this port we'll do some shopping, its early enough in the day and we had to be back by 7pm so we left and did our shoppins. while we were shopping grampa was approached by the sweetest cart driver ever and was swindled to go for a drive around the island.... it was about noon when he comes walking over and tells us we're going on an excursion.... at this point we have 7 hours until needing to be back so we all agreed and got excited. the tour starts off nicely but as time went on we started to notice the jungle (forrest?) was getting thicker and time was getting later. 330 rolls by and grampa is having a little bit of a panick attack and asks how much longer, tour guide kept saying just a little longer... 430 rolls by.... grampa turns and looks at us and mouths "should i stop this?" and we all nodded panickly.... so he looks at the driver and goes "we have to be back on our cruise in 2 1/2 hrs can we turn around?"... the tour guide slammed on his breaks, pulled a drifting u-turn and looked at grampa and was like "I THOUGHT YOU WERE ON THE RESORT NOT THE CRUISE" he uh, he ripped it n gripped it back to the ship.... we got back to the cruise ship around 655.... my mum and gramma gave my grampa the deathiest death stare i have ever seen and he took me to the bar for the rest of the evening and "sat by" (aka: hid behind) the piano.

@@Emeraldwitch30 oh I need an internet Nana, my actual Nana passed away several years ago and frankly nothing has been the same for me since, I miss her terribly and then with my Baba passing away last year it's only gotten worse because now it's become abundantly clear to me that they were the only thing making my parents pretend to be decent people and loving parents, in their absence their true hateful character has been revealed which has been so heartbreaking and painful, I've truly struggled to find the desire to live some days......gosh I'm sorry, that was a bit much, anyway love that you're spreading some much needed love to those who truly need it.......I hope you have a wonderful day 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷
The first one is like Australia, most known city is Sydney but the capitol is Canberra!
I just recently read that back in the early days after cars were invented, people thought it was just going to be a fad, like many others, will fade out. Now knowing the promotions that Michelin went through, wondering if they're responsible for the fad not dying! 🤣
The look on her face when she learned about Michelin lol
As always, the editing is TOP TIER
The children removing ice from the car ... that video will for sure make other appearances. At weddings, important birthdays, and any other occasion where maximum embarrassment can be the order of the day. 🤣 Scratches aside, they were very sweet to want to help, bless 'em!
Ahhh I just found this channel today and delighted my petty ass in watching you’re petty revenge reactions 😂 this is something I normally do as a silent pleasure but oh BOY it’s so much more fun with your input😏
I’m so proud of you Charlotte ❤

Actually charlotte Im from the gta and visited Ottawa (my friend moved there for work) and it was great! You can tour the Supreme Court, we visited the war museum (it’s huge it takes a whole day, but I’m a nerd for history…), and the nature museum was excellent (there are dinosaurs and a baby blue whale skeleton that will make your brain short circuit seeing how huge it is)
Anyway, I had a good time lol it’s nice to visit at least once
Ya I’m from Montreal and been to Ottawa many times. It’s nice there.
That sounds like a great city to visit! I live in California, and I doubt that anyone would want to visit it's capital, Sacramento, unless they had to. Their city slogan should be, "At least we're not Stockton!"
My favorite California city to spend the day is Palm Springs. Safe, great art museum and galleries, wonderful restaurants, cool mid-century homes where stars of the 1950s lived, and the best thrift stores ever!
@@saintsomnia8030 gta meaning greater Toronto area, since I know Charlotte is in Toronto just pointing out I’m from the same area.
I loved ottawa. Lots of museums, parks and history. I gor to visit parliament and the governor generals house. It was interesting. They have a ghost tour I would love to do next time as well.
broooo the one where the teens house got ran into reminds me of the time me and my sister could have gotten crushed by a light pole because a car hit it. the only reason we didn’t get hit is because it didn’t bend all the way. we also didn’t notice a thing until we heard sirens.
There is a documentary on the Michelin star grading and how it’s scandals…a chef committed suicide when lost a star.
Canada JUST got their first Michelin star “guide” on September 13 2022 which features 20 restaurants FINALLY. Not a single restaurant before that date which Is absolute bollocks and once they were finally called out they have started to consider other worldly cuisines
I just love Charlotte. Every day is a good day when you get to spend it with your Hollywood bestie
Yet another reason a cruise ship is my literal nightmare.
Yeah, I knew the Michelin thing. Mostly because the name was a bit too unique.
Im really chuckling at the passenger left behind! I used to work on a ship and almost missed mine thanks to a seadoo adventure gone awry and had my pass pulled for two weeks. Not as bad as my roomie though when she missed. She found the locals, got them to take her out on a boat and she met the ship and climbed the rope ladder. I was just late, that was a whole other level of sea pirate! Gotta love Jamaicans.
Good times. 🤣👍
LOL I’ve been thinking about this Michelin thing ever since I was a kid. Because I remember the Michelin mascot being several places in Denmark, where they had car-shops. And I always thought it was so weird how restaurants were valued by a big tire-rolled ghost.
Love your videos. I look forward to your videos everyday. Your a great person Charlotte and I admire your dedication so much! ❤️
ME TOO😊👍🏻🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷
The only reason I’ve been to Ottawa twice in my life was a grade 7 trip and a wedding.
To be fair to everyone answering the capitol of Canada question, I would fuck it up out of nerves alone. School traumatized my anxious ass with surprise questions for not looking like I was paying attention good enough, and now if you walked up and asked me if I knew my own name out of the blue, I would answer incorrectly. I would legit not be able to answer, even if I knew 500% what the answer was.
@@JustKelso1993 It sure is. Though, I legit was traumatized. It was not nearly as light as I have led on. Religious schools do that to a person.
Charlotte : "Quebec is not a city, it's a province"
Me, allegedly living in Quebec city : "where have I been all this time???"
Was asked the "What is the Capital of Canada?" by a reporter outside of the Ontario Science Centre. Not knowing gave me so much anxiety I later threw up into a bucket of KFC. That was 40 years ago and I am still mortified.
To be fair, that IS the correct response to "What should you do with a bucket of KFC?".
Have the best day Charlotte! I’m sick in bed and this is what I needed ❤
You video editor is amazing. She makes your videos twice as amazing! 👏 👏 👏

Best way to start a Saturday morning ❤
literally went to ottawa for a camp course with the cadet program and ended leaving early because it was hot as BALLS and i kept getting heat stroke and literally passing out, ANDD even better, the nurses and doctors on the MILITARY BASE were like “iTs JuSt YoUr AnXiEtY” like okay, but im only stressed about the fact that i feel like i’m about to PASS OUT every FIVE MINUTES LIKE.😀
