Honestly i just want this because of the coolness-factor. It's inspiring when my studio looks chic. (Except, now that i'm watching this, the fact that you can control not just the amount of the effect, but the timing of the sound-effect itself, well, this is just unprecedented. Would save you from having to run your sound thru an effects unit. This little Pyle mixer might actually be the bomb.).

Sold the display and still waiting for pyle to get it back in stocks..... one day maybe.
As a seasoned/pro KJ, compression is your greatest ally. I’m surrounded by amateurs. The shy singers don’t sing loud enough and most of the bold singers don’t know to pull the mic back when belting out a chorus. So, that compression knob I have on my Yamaha MG series mixers are key. Sure, the mixer being reviewed here is cheap and will do the trick for the novice host, but I owe my singers the best experience they can possibly get. That’s simply not achieved through this mixer. Remember, you get what you pay for and Pyle doesn’t have a very good longevity track record.
If only yamaha would get rid of those honken enormous power bricks! And adding Bluetooth would be nice.

So the USB port is both input and output? I’m looking to use this to connect mics for live streaming to a laptop that doesn’t have a line-in port.
Got his mixer in yesterday and I really love it... I grew out of the PMXU638T and upgraded. The only thing I noticed and it took me forever to figure out, is that it will not record to USB unless I have the folder JL_REC already on the drive, and I have at least one audio file there, ie. FILE0001.MP3. Anyone have the same issue with an easier work around? My previous unit created the directory and structure on its own, there wasn't an issue at all.
I don't know if there's another way, but that's what I did after seeing your comment and that worked.

@@MohsenAYN I created the folder and a .wav file... does it have to be mp3? Also does it have to be formatted or can it be a used usb drive?
you have to have at least one audio file in the usb so it can be read by the device
If you pan left and right on two channels can you record to two separate computer recording software tracks? Simultaneously via the USB recording out function?

whenever i record something with the usb, the audio comes out saturated, what can i do?
It's not my favorite way to record. Try turning down the mains, turn up the headphones, and set the channel gains so you hear it in the headphones without distortion. Test the adjust the headphones and gains, when you get right take note of the settings.

Can I connect a 'Phono' source turntable to this mixer? How would I ground the T.T.?

I have not yet tried the MG16 but I just checked it out on amazon and that is a lot of mixer for the price. Sound Quality is hard to tell in a picture.

Why not talk faster so I don't fall asleep and thanks for explaining so deeply the AUX\RETURN?????? Instruction manual is as worthless as your video. Can't tell if aux jack is mono or stereo, input or output. Can't plug things in might blow the circuits. Alf can't figure it out either!!!
