This is not always a successful situation, it depends on if you can empty the container and very carefully separate the root system of each plant. Always worth a try!

I adore flowers and gardens, but I prefer a minimal number of plants per container to allow each plant to grow to its full glory. When packed too tightly, plants smother each other out.

Could you give us a video when you remove the perineal plants out of the planter at the end of the seasons. How do you store the plants to use for the following year, or do you just keep the plants in the pot and move them to the shed or some area where they stay alive. Also how do you store any of your empty pots, (ceramic , clay, plastic, metals).

My sister and i LOVE your channel, we both do container planting on our decks and patios, and I've learned so much. I've never sprayed for slugs or bugs or worms, I heard you say "BT"? or "DT" or something? Please let me know what that is, I have everything blooming and looking great right now, except for one pot. My "kiss me over the garden gate" has holes in all of the leaves, and that is planted with a purple poppy - it's like the California golden poppy, but purple - and that plant is turning black on the stems. Mostly I use Proven Winners, and I'm a BIG FAN of supertunias, but this one pot is struggling, and I'm sure it has a small slug or worm, that I don't see, but I'd like to know what your treatment is. Thanks SO much!

Yes, there are lots of colors in both lines that will work together. We would advise to NOT use a Supertunia Vista though, it might overtake the ColorBlaze coleus in the pot, those are very vigorous plants. Enjoy!

Pointless to waste plants by planting others in with the coleus and heuchera if they smother their companions and take over the whole pots. Let the two vigorous plants be the show stoppers that they will become and plant the others elsewhere where you can enjoy them for the investment you made in them. I spend about $40 a container to plant up pots x 5 pots it's a lot of money to lose if half of the plants are smothered out.

The plants she focuses on are always listed in the video description too. We are always happy to help, but having the plant names up over the moving video is not always possible. Thank you for watching.
