Comment "Mumme", "Dular", or "Drew" below to let me know which version you like. TIX for Air Raid Nation: 92meshgroup.com/Clinics

Drew. We combine Sail and Cross. One less play. Also like running it to the boundry.

I like piscopo's way... but with a twist. Here's why.... I like the early pressure relief valve with the over Y cross acting as a hot for early pressure from LB's. Here's the twist, I like making the F check release a spot route 2 yards outside x 3 yards vertical of the right tackle for a late pressure relief valve. Ever tried to hit a tailback 20-25 yards away in the flat when you have a d.lineman hanging onto you and trying to tackle you?? There's only a few people on the planet able to do it. I'd prefer the 7-8 yard throw to the check release spot route. Love the channel. keep up the great work Coach Coltharp

The key to the Air Raid, in my opinion, is to take those base concepts and add “tags.” Then use the tags that benefit you from week to week. So I’d say you want all 3 versions. The only thing I would do different on “Mumme” is what Leach was doing the last few years at Tech. Take the h and use him as a check down so the read does X-Peak, Y-Cross, Z-Post/Curl. That way you can add the shallow, sail, or h-wheel and not have to coach up the h-option.

    Drew's X and Z and Mumme's Y and H. Peek to H (unless their is color in H's grass) to Y to Z.

I am from the Mumme school but over the last season I changed the X & H. X has automatic outside release go, H has 10 step Post and the RB is on the Cross side (going to the flat of the cross) with a check release to the flat. Z runs a 10-15 yard dig route. It has been highly effective because the S reads #2 on either side (if 2 high) so they have been picking up the crosser. Now, he has to take #2 (H) vertical, RB holds the LB/DB in the flats and there is 9/10 times a huge window for the Cross now.

This was awesome! Even if we like one over the other, the more we see, the more tags we can generate. Good job Coach!

Hello coach. Do a video of what to call when you go to early. Read the defense and what to attack depending how they defend 3x1.

I like Y hot especially if you release 5 or in PAP. That receiver needs to be looking to get open. The other routes are more precision routes.

What about having H run a bubble?
    Several ways to get there.
Line up in Early and bring H in orbit, line up in Blue and swing him.
2 back with H to the right, flash to F and loop H behind.
If you are a big zone/bubble team, this really ties into what you are already doing.
In fact, we can run it off of our Pin and pull “buck sweep” play.

We run 95 the way “Drew” does! It’s awesome how often we get that out and I feel it really opens up room for the Y

Mummy, but I think and am intrigued with doing all three. To me, Dular gives one mirrored ideas on both sided. One side is sail and Y-corner and on the other side is Y cross two different ways. I know It is not apples to apples but its how I look at it. Then I also like the idea of the core concepts being a way to call other concepts in the air raid, like Drew’s version getting sail out of Y cross but you keep the reads the same for y cross. And vice Y cross out of sail. And one more for you is Y-cross man with x shallow. It’s shallow cross with a read of Y-cross or Y-cross read shallow. Tell me what you think? Am I nuts?

Drew! That 10 yd put could be run by the Y or the H depending on how you always read 95; none the I loved this play as a player

Right now I like Mumme with the Deep Dig 13-15 from Z.
F runs the shoot instead of swing... 🤔

But why not run Dular to the Y side? You run Y SAIL already so why not add the H CROSS to it?

I just don't think it's worth the reps....You can run sail to Flood strong side.
