Kanej’s scene is my favorite. They gave us the most intense Kanej interaction and they TOOK that away. I was not into slow burn before but Kanej has turned me upside down. Freddy and Amita ate.

fun fact that i also missed in the midst of the chaos: danielle (nina's actress) confirmed that the pardon nikolai gave to matthias became useless the moment he fought and killed one of the guards. the pardon was only for the (fake) slavery charges, so sadly, now there's no legal way to get him out of hellgate.

I was really sad that they killed off David, but I was happy that, unlike in the books, Alina got to keep her powers after the darklings death and that her story is not over yet. Ik this is an unpopular opinion but I like this season better than the books for that sole reason. I’m also happy they managed to incorporate jurda aprèm into the season!
