Congrats on your sportster. I have an 03 with the hammer 1275 jugs. My wife has a 1200C like yours. My oldest son rides a 94 with hammer 1275. Younger son rides an 89 883. They're fun bikes for sure. Plenty quick for public roads

Check the manual..switch to 2nd gear 25 km/h, 3rd 40, 4th 55, 5th 70...wish you a good safe ride
Good choice sir. I ride a 2005 model myself and it's a rocket. These sportsters are bullerproof and forgiving. Keep the rubberside down and have fun.
I have that exact same bike, same color too. I've never seen another besides mine that color. Looks awesome!

With 80 hp and 80 ft lbs, you will find the bike to be a blast!! It is deceptively fast!! Watch out!! A hooligan bike for sure!!

Got it for $11k New Zealand Dollars.. had about 40,000km on it. But I have since upgraded to 2019 1200 Iron now.. only 600km on it.
