  • It’s 2017! We’re a few days late here but we just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone who has supported TEP’s this past year. You’re incredible. All of the dancing, conversations, food, drinks and hospitality you’ve shown us in Canada, United States, Australia, England, Scotland and Norway has been unreal.
We can’t wait to see you all (and explore some new territory) in 2017.
Here’s a few original tunes we recorded in Koad’s living room - put a little hop in yer step to kick off ’17.
Thanks to Confound and Studio Dimanche for your expertise on this one!

HOW!!! How can such a big sound come from a tiny wee room.
I absolutely adore this tune. It brings tears to my eyes!

Saw the East Pointers live at the Auckland Folk Festival, in 2018. I regularly go on holiday to NZ from the UK and always go to the Auckland Folk Festival. Just had to get their CD's after their set then nearly played it to death in the car for the rest of the month on holiday. Now have them in the car at home in the UK and will always play them while driving, Meals By Maurice has to be my favourite track.
I've dabbled with a tenor banjo for nearly 30 years and have yet to master a consistent triple, very jealous of the skill on show, I'll stick with my mandolin it's a bit more easy to manage.
Hope to see them live again some day.

Seeing you guys for the first time at Nannup Festival 2019 was just incredible. It was an out of body experience. That also could have been due to the fact half way through your set I realised I was dancing next my bosses boss. Either way, I would love to visit Prince Edward Island. 💚💚

Where is that bass coming from? Does that stomp box play different bass notes?

It's part of the guitar channel, a pickup for the lowest e string with it's own processing chain

Wonderful music but that drunken style camerawork gives me a headache!
