When it comes to a smartphone besides some key features, the battery is the most important thing. I hate it when phones have to be charged on daily basis.
SHOULD be able to swap out the battery as needed. No GOOD reason for it to be sealed in. Can easily still be waterproof, can do a hard boot if needed and cuts off spying.

On the online selling sites the photos of the thermal camera are different for 18T and 19T models. And this is confusing me a bit.

Why did they choose to provide water drop front camera....They could have easily shifted it upwards and hidden it in the bezel...the display would look nice then

@@roboteen My "phone" is a 2016 model connected to everything and has never had an update to the "phone" or the Android 8 operating system. Not even the "apps" update and there are no problems at all.

You should be able to find what bands it works on listed online and then compare to what bands and channels your mobile carrier uses. I want to like this phone, but worry it may not be as secure

Hi PG, If you get the chance to reply, I was hoping that you can give me some advice please, this phone sadly is out of my price range. I have spent hours on the internet to find a suitable phone for my needs, and thought I had found the one, the Oukitel wp21, but reviews have said its tinny sound and camera isn’t very good. I do not know id the wp21 ultra is better ? But, could you advise me with your thoughts. I cannot afford anymore than £400. I DONT game on a phone, just want something sturdy, good camera and sound, Infrared might be good but not necessary, and has a good compass. . I have an Armor 9 and want to upgrade. What do you recommend the 19T or the 18T?

I have read in several forums the endless complaints about the 18t though I do not know whether there are still many bugs to sort out or if the initial batch had bad chipsets, everything from the phone randomly switching off, getting hot, speakers going bad after a month, no night mode for main camera, also camera takes blurry pictures not really much detail plus a anoying watermark that can't be removed,and several carriers that don't support it... So far no updates from company to fix any of it yet...amazon removed the t18 from its inventory recently. I'm looking a the doogee s100 or v30 but I love the t18 will wait and see if they fix it.

If this company wants to set this over the top is to allow the user to download whatever operating system to this phone! BOOM! Done deal with any guy on the planet! Android, IOS! Best of both worlds! Then all the company has to do is just improve the phone ever couple of years or so, have options of different useful normal out door and indoor uses for the phone, Camera, measuring, Thermal, endo scopes, you name it. This would truly be a guys go to phone! I hope the company sees this. Cause dam I want one! LOL :) Oh and make it unlocked for using it on other carriers too!
Also satellite connection would put it over the top. Also ham radio connectivity would be insane.
Ios is built to hardware so that won't work. It's also checked by apples servers so not l gonna work. You also have to understand that many if the features on the phone would require hardware specific software.

Beautiful, but not very honest review, but perfectly done. It would be great to mention issues with dual SiM operation, where sometimes not even one SiM card work and phone restarts. But besides that, the FLiR integration with Google Photos [simply save the photo from the FLiR App directly to Google Photos] is priceless for me. I"ve had S61 before, was looking for S62 Pro, but uleFone besides it's awful name and logo is a piece of art.
Though beware, it doesn't have the stability of Samsung, Sony, or other big brands regarding its SW, it's nowhere near the SW stability of Apple.
But for the price of 570e [at this time] it's a great device. I have it as a secondary phone mainly for the FLiR [since the standalone FLiR with Lepton 3.5 in C5 device cost 800e+], this is a priceless device for FLiR and I also do love the microscope.

@ivanpluznikov3166 S62 Pro cost 2/3rds the price opposed to Armour, so that's a huge difference. If You want only FLiR go get the CAT. Armour grew on me. It's a small brand phone, don't expect Samsung, Sony, Xiaomi, OnePlus or Huawei experience. Both phones are slow compared to other mainstream cheap phones, but...they are rugged and battery on Armour should have a nickname "Immortal". If You want faster FLiR get CAT, of You care about other things get Armour. As I wrote, I fell in love with Armour and sold S62 Pro to a friend for half the purchase price.
I own this phone, and i don't like how the power button/fingerprint scanner combo button works. It's really touchy or flimsy, not in material or construction, you only need to blow on it and then the phone screen turns on. Which means if you keep it in your pocket the monitor/phone is constantly turning on or off. I don't know how often the phone is restarting because of the button. The only thing that fixes it is to buy a soft cover, then the power button is not as far out and flimsy...

Nice - BUT which carriers will accept it without cutting features? ATT often cuts Wifi calling on phones they don't sell. If you're out in the wild where you need ruggedness few carriers exist.
It’s sad when companies do that. But the problem isn’t with the phone. It’s with the carrier. I believe we need to put pressure on these carriers to accept any phone that’s physically capable of being used on their network.

Maybe AT&T let me slip through the cracks. But I tried the WiFi calling last week on my Ulefone 18T just to see if it works. To my pleasant surprise, it does.

Buy an IR light (like for hunting) and the camera will be able to see in the dark. As far as I know, only high end cameras like DSLR cameras have IR filters for better photos. Aim your TV remote at your cellphone camera and you can see the IR light to test it.

The camera is not as great as you think. You have to hold this device very steady when taking photos as it doesn't have any stabilisation which makes it very ugly to use.
I expected this phone to be like $1300 but instead its even cheaper at $700!

19t is only 4g and no thermal camera the... The 4g thing is still disputed though but everything els is the same also cheaper

I have a BV9500 for at least 5 years now, i like to do a market search sometimes just to have an idea of what phone will replace it in case something happens and i have to say that phone would pass the finish line if it was indeed waterproof!
Closing charging or headphone holes with rubber pads, should not considered by anyone a safe waterproof option!
What if you forget to close it perfectly, or in two-three years when the rubber degradates and not hold its place as tight as the first day?
Its a disaster waiting to happen and a bad choice.
I've always been a bit concerned about the rubber seal degrading over time but my AGM glory charges on a dock so I don't need to open the rubber seal each time.

@@brewcity2317 You can go to the website and check to see what's compatible. It was about 6 months ago I checked the specs on the phone and compatibility. It looks like a very nice phone other than you just have to make sure it's compatible with your phone carrier. Also it's quite pricey..

I have the Duraforce Pro phone. It is nearly indestructable, but is total crap. Touchscreen, speakers, basic necessary PHONE functions all unusable. Would you like to buy it?
Duraforce 2 is a great phone. Dropped it from 45' up in my bucket truck and it only scratched it.

U expect me to believe the phone didnt shake at all in microscopic mode while u were zoomed in on the hair while holding the phone with ur hand!?! U cant even get the shakes out with normal zoom.... also when u put the phone over the flower suddenly it wasnt microscopic detail at all but rather blurred crap....that may of been the actual footage there..... Multiple times the video on the screen moved around on its own without finger input while being held in ur hand while the object was supposedly behind it at the time. I call copy paste recorded video with a better camera on that. Don't be fooled guys, he is nothin but a shill for this product!
