- first vlog at ucla!! i've been so busy and always forget to film when i'm at school, but i finally picked up the camera again - just in time for current seniors to start choosing where to go to college :)))) CONGRATS TO EVERYONE WHO WAS ACCEPTED TO UCLA! i tried to give the most realistic and accurate depiction of a couple days in my life - maybe this will convince you to commit here :)
just kidding this vlog was super chaotic but i promise this school is incredible and i'll probably make a more detailed video about how i chose where to attend college and why i have never regretted choosing ucla.
in the meantime, pls enjoy this vlog and stick around to the end for a rly nasty punishment. we take wordle very seriously here.

@@dorothycho2467 FR, I'm either going Big (UCLA) or go home (Palomar College). 5 of my friends also got into UCLA but we discussed that it depends on which school can give us the most financial aid, we got Cal Grants, but, still, we're trying to be financially smart. That's what I would tell you to consider too. Whatever choice you make, it will be great!

I spent the day on campus today. It’s beautiful.
Everyone at UCLA seem like they have some great friends, and everyone is genuinely amazing. After seeing my decisions, I am still deciding between UCLA and UCI. It's just that dorm living scares me a little bit as I'm very close to my parents. :)
I get you! I am also very close to my parents and turned down berkeley for ucsd and I’m dorming there but it’s been a wonderful experience! When you’re that close to home and it will still be in the case of you since Irvine and Westwood is not that far away!
I just got accepted to UCLA as a transfer! I’m so excited for this new journey! I just did my honors application. Have my Bruin to Bruin meeting next week!

@@rileycramm8949 thanks! i had a 4.33 weighted gpa, i had a lot of extracurriculars, and my essays were pretty good. i didn't turn in any SAT or ACT scores, and my ap scores weren't that good either (but they don't care about test scores). i took 8 AP classes and a few honors too. for my extracurriculars i had leadership positions that showed my growth (and i talked about it in my essays) and i was involved in and committed to orgs/clubs for 4 or more years (they love seeing commitment). i think overall i was a little average compared to others who get in, but I do believe I had good essays and my extracurriculars showed a lot about me. if you just worked hard in high school i think you'll get in so good luck!

I wanna go to UCLA so bad, but AHHHHH I'm having doubts that I won't be accepted at all but yk what let's hope💃🏽 it looks amazing there and I was so excited when I was able to take a field trip there😭 (currently a junior in high school 🪄)

I am a senior in high school and I'll tell you it will help starting on your college essays early. I started mine during junior year as my AP English Language teacher gave us a copy of the PIQs and made it an assignment to start some drafts. I kept those drafts and referring back to them as time for applications came was very useful. I wish you the very best and I hope you get into UCLA next year!!

I’ve been looking for any ucla CZcamsrs who have this major and I finally found one!! Anyways how do you like the major and would you say it’s a good major to pick? Also do you know if ucla has a good program for it?
hi!! congrats on the ucla acceptance n im so excited ur going to be a bruin 😁😁 so i haven’t actually started my upper divs for mimg yet (i will this quarter), but i do think ucla has a great program for mimg and especially if u want to be premed, it’s an awesome choice w/ lots of interesting upper div electives and research opportunities :)
