its all the low skill animals on reddit whinging about tinker for years despite it being so easy to shut down in upper brackets. They might aswell remove the hero from the game at this point
@@deadmagnet6318 Tinker with an Ubercannon like in TF2 is a great idea. Him and IO could function as two sides of the same coin, both tethering supports but make one heavily offensively based and the other more defensively focused
It should be noted, Monkey Kings updated shard now makes it usable and so much better. With the talent giving 100 primal spring damage, it now deals an additional almost 300 damage to everyone hit (not just the end) without needing to spring. Actually huge, especially for support MK's. Blast to play too.

@@DUKEHadToDoItToEmsame sentiment, so hard to do laning stage when 22% of spell damage you deal is directly returned to QOP and with her measly HP at early game, that's just so hard on the hero, and they even remove the heal component of shadowstrike. Really sad for QOP this patch, and he is not even in meta for like years already.

People always sleep on euls with sand king and I have no clue why? It's probably the best item you can get on him
As a zuse support player in 4.5k and 1k mmr I have found post patch he still feels good even when you have 3 to 5 running across the map at you.
Octrien core and shard has let him basically do his thing.
Note my avg timing on the MPS and shard are about 15 mins in and at that point you can push any lane , gank or jungle and be fast enough you can jump and run if you can't fight what shows up.
IDK why but I always want to build OC and thought it would be interesting when I saw the slark changes. Hopefully it ends up being a good build.

Great vid, just a detail, it's true that a 200 reduction in 650 area in sand king storm is more than half the area, but in reality it only matters how far away you are, so the only check it's doing is distance in which case it didn't lose 50% + effectivness and it just lot a flat 30 %. I see you always mention this so I brought it up
you cant just say it only matters how far away one individual unit is for a big aoe ability like this, the second there are more than 1 people in the aoe, all of a sudden the reduction in area matters a large amount.
if it was a point target ability than sure, but as long as its an aoe ability like chrono or something, you are actively trying to fit as many eneimies into the aoe as possible, and so the area absolutely matters

The only thing that matters is how far a unit is from sand king, meaning, if you reduce the radius by 200, you just can be 200 units further away from sand king, it doesn't matter how much area those 200 units would cover, each unit is an individual distance check.

Time zone pierce debuff immunity is big considering leashed got buff last 7.36a also. Void can just go nullifier everygame bc they also give nullifier 10% slow.
It's still weak as fuck, you can just eul most of the time and by the time he gets nullifier, most can one vs one
They should fix Visage's Facet 1. At the moment you can't use the gargoyle teleport alt ability when your summon familiars ultimate is on cooldown. Which is stupid because why do I have to wait for 2 minutes to be able to teleport gargoyles to me after summoning them? Makes the facet so much worse...
They second facet is even worse, but overall he’s pretty strong
@@Divin3Valor The second facet is so terrible. I guess I'm glad you still get rewarded for having the skill to be able to micro, and that the non-micro talent isn't just better. But damn it's impossible for visage to stun someone running away from him unless he Grave Chills them first or has like BoT2, and even then he has to get so out of position cause his birds are always behind him.
Ive have been playing sven for a while, and feels really good having an above 60% khanda rush seems to be the play, the help potential wins all fights.

I want to try BB and Oracle. The BB chases heroes while Oracle uses Purifying Flames on BB's back, causing BB to fire goo in an AoE on enemies.
Had a 64% win rate with the Omni. And even the losses were because of griefing mostly. Now they’ve relegated him to only support.
Thoughts on tusk and veno (as supports)? I played both yesterday and they felt great. Tusk can trade even better now and an additional second on tag team really comes in handy. The plague carrier for veno felt REALLY great simply due to having 3 charges of plague wards but I am not sure which facet for veno is actually better
The plague carrier facet still feels gimmicky. I spam veno support and never picked that facet in my ranked games nor do I encounter other veno players that pick that facet. Patient zero facet is still by far the better value of the 2 facets. It's effectively a Scepter level updrage on veno's ult but free.
Slark only got buffed dude :) His regen is quite spectacular the lvl 1 Barracuda regen ticking at 12 per second is massive for laning. Eat harrass weave to trees for like 10-15 sec back to cs.

Slark has a slightly better permanent Tango heal at the start, love it.
Also happy DK got nerfed. Slark is supposed to counter him, but with Dragon Blood now an innate + new passive, he hits way too hard at the start while getting obnoxious amounts of armor/regen for free.
i played spectre against a support phoenix before this patch. I won that game but laning against phoenix was hell impossible.
Is Safe Lane carry Beastmaster now viable?
he's less of a zoo than ever so builds emphasising buffing zoo aren't 'as' essential
with first facet you have:
1. great attack speed
2. universal hero so great damage gain through stat items
3. wild axe for clearing waves and farming fast
4. aghs for heal and DoT and goes well with high attack speed
5. ulti is a great solo pick off yet defensive survivability spell if required
6. tanky with stat gain
7. boar and hawk an anti-initiation asset to help get away
so he can somewhat flash farm, has high damage and attack speed, team fight, scales well, survivable, split pusher, kill threat...
I feel like I'm missing something as to why he's not viable. Can anyone help?
I have a video of beastmaster carry 1 yr ago in 6k mmr. Its not unplayable but melee with no defensive mechanism nor mobility means he gets kited hard. Hes actually pretty ok against melee heroes. Also he is not tanky, he has approximately same hp as alchemist with 1 less armor.
@@frogwhisperer4268I'm 9k and have always played beast master. You gotta get bkb if not you need blink and just wait for someone else to engage. If you are the initiator and tank on him you need shard aghs bkb or it's just gonna go very bad

Definitely not, you dont regen at all so losing 15% hp everytime you press W just fucks you up and u cant join fights

soul fragement tb is bad, unless u wanna hurt urself and invi and sunder ur enemy then dagon, which i think the other facet can do too and better
i use sandking sandshroud more then the sandstorm, but i usually build with upgraded eul, dagon, sange and kaya
never played zeus with manta before, so i dont see it as a nerf that much, i know a lot of people using it, but i somehow cant play him with manta no matter how many time i try.
time zone is great if u have team that jump in with you, if not, its a waste of ability.
flayer hook is good, but not so when the pudge on ur team keep waiting on his hook and just blink out if fail, which happen alot of the time and ruined the game later on.
ive been playing mirana pos 1/2 and been rinsing teams, have 80% winrate. solar flare is crazy strong and leap with shard does huge burst dmg

@mrlabeouf9002 skill build can go 1 point into arrow for range creep then max the q then the e . The jump gives atk speed so very helpful. Going maelstrom dragon Lance and can switch it up going manta or SNY and eventually getting an mkb or daedulus and getting the shard. Very good carry that does alot of dmg

@@tyharris14 i think laning is a problem with mirana need to hit lots of arrows, if she loses lane hard its hard to come back but if she has a mediocre or good lane mirana feels very good

Night Stalker, Underlord via portal aspect, Spirit breaker, Enigma, Elder titan, Ogre Magi. Plenty of heroes if you look close enough

WK didn't get much of a nerf. IT's really just the nerf to his mortal strike cooldown. The other nerfs are to his wraith form, which IMO was just a kind of nice bonus to have in general

Is it just me or the forced movement changes are a big nerf for stoked facet batrider?

They've got to stop buffing my natures treant.
To summarize the last few patches:
- Zeus illusions nerfed
- TB illusions nerfed
- DK illusions nerfed
- Arc Warden clone nerfed
- Luna glaives dmg nerfed
The point is: Valve doesn't want you to hide in the jungle while your illusions push out waves and kills towers. Why? Presumably because it's unfun to play against.
Now, don't remind them that Naga exists.
Well that's what naga siren is designed for tho, to literally stand behind her illusions while she fights or farms

@@conceptAIart That's absolutely not it. Farming lanes with illusions is really simple. The problem is that made illusion heroes TOO easy. You get so much map control without ever revealing your hero, letting you stay safe while farming at very little risk. Like how is using manta as DK and A-clicking towers hard in any way?

I don't know why they nerf DK. It is the red facet that they need to buff. It feel so bad because it is just worse cleave of any other character. Instead of buffing it for more usage, they nerf the other 2 facets even though they are not particularly broken and DK late game is probably weaker than before 7.36.
I am not sure if jug nerf is big enough though. And slark buff may be too much, 50 cd at lvl 1 is so fast.

The way you described Terrorblade with blink and abyssal and ur illusions dealing 87% of the damage made it sound like a poor man's CK. All these requirements to do what CK naturally does, and better! I guess tb would still farm a bit faster? but idk if worth it. Maybe if CK is banned

Time(cum) zome is a very good teamfight skill for more of a support void. With a couple of melee or low ranged cored it can do wonders in a fight
To be fair Shadow Shaman is still disgusting and annoying as hell. Slardar is still great but first skill is no longer busted.
He's the only support I can think of that has consistently dominated every meta for like 3 years now. Also my most played and highest WR support right now

Dude, why is everyone skiping vision changes? This is HUGE buff to NP, from my perspective he deletes my teamate from existance for few secs, making the fight loom outnumbered and ppl get lost and fall back
I had a hard time understanding what those changes meant on the patch notes, can you explain why this is good for NP?
@@AeriDjGk I dont understand it from notes also, but in game when he uses sprout on someone you dont see that person anymore, even if you stand close, you dont see it on mini map or heroes bar even on top. It makes you think that person is dead and you need to back.

@@amberswilddiaries2831 in my experience it's the opposite. 1 pipe and 1 bkb and your whole Zeus carry is utterly useless, and people in guardian or above tend to recognize that and build those items pretty quick

@@DUKEHadToDoItToEm In mid guardian it worked just fine when no one start to flame during the strategy time. Even if someone buys pipe you deal ton of physical damage with the manta shard.
For me it everything I wanted from a carry: I could get shard and farm fast. I could take fights really early. Jump + huricane pike + manta makes it nightmare to catch you. You scale well for late game both with physical damage and magical damge.
I've already been called a clown by my teamates in game i dominated every aspect of the offensive side of the game: most kills, most assits, most damage to building, fewest deaths, highest lh etc.. (even after the gane)

You're right about him being slightly difficult to lock down but otherwise it's just bad, just another Manta-spell interaction gimmick like Batrider's short lived manta meta

@@ninoobejero614 the poof nerf is huge, it forces you to get the poof damage talent to one shot the creeps... it slows down meepo's farm a lot in the early game... which is what his main advantage comes from. the stat nerf just makes this worse because he has less mana... also, survivability isn't that big of a problem because he has megameepo and dig.

I only play Dota since few but Im SHOCKED by the balance system. Zeus was so obviously broken and maybe the best hero for MONTHS without them doing anything, and now that the big patch finally hurt him a bit and give them way to balance him they come w the guillotine and straight kill him

Yo BSJ, try out or at least keep an eye on core Clockwerk. I'm a midlaner and I last-pick it when I see that the enemy team is representing a lot of physical damage. His lane is a little rough if he's against a ranged hero but he just has so much going for him mid/late now, and you can honestly mitigate the lane a bit with cogs, springing them when the enemy steps up and yeeting two more cogs at them by the time the ability ends, you can keep them away from a ranged creep while taking out 1/4th of their mana pool with one cast. Battery Assault deals double damage to creeps; still not as good as having a spammable AoE for farming, but it helps a lot. Turning armor into an all-outgoing-damage amp is nuts against physical lineups and you can just thunderdome solokill anyone once you have an armor item + aghs
Everyone's sleeping on the ally-hookshot facet too, core or support, for purposely hitting allies with it (I thought this even before it got a barrier, but it's even better now). If you have one person on your team with a blink, it becomes a 300-radius (which to put in perpective, is Sand King's lvl 1 sandstorm now lmao) bkb-piercing stun that goes on a SEVEN SECOND cooldown and now gives your initiator a barrier too

Slark's ult is OP, if you add Octarine, it goes down to around 22.5 seconds, at lvl 25 you can get the +1 Shadow dance duration which makes it a 5.5. duration, so basically the downtime of Shadow dance is only 17 secs haha

As a support player, this is frustrating. They've nerfed Axe, LC, Centaur, and even Slardar, all key initiators. With Blink, we could make plays and control the tempo. In my recent games, I had Mirana, DP, BS and Queen as offlaners, making it too easy for enemies to kill me due to the lack of initiators and players just farmning. Thanks, Valve.
Here's the thing, as a veteran player I'm gonna come in at the very end of patches when all the casuals leave and the dust settles, since noobs and casuals tend to flock in at the start of big patches then leave as they realise they still suck, this patch was just a hot mess. Fun, amazing, but definitely created with the new and casual players in mind, who care not for balance or strategy. I like my competive DotA games to be balanced, skill based and this patch had so many broken things that it simply didn't make sense to invest so much time to find out, 2 weeks later, the reworked the entire hero. What a joke.
casuals don't think they don't suck. They don't stop playing because you think they are just realizing they suck. They just play dota and other games casually. I can't believe you can't figure that out on your own.
