Most accurate thing ever! Literally titled my most recent video "watch with headphones, please" lol. On this note, an overview of sound design always makes for an educational video. The sounds of him putting on his bike cloths were spot on, not sure if that was done in post or not, but great work!

Coming back here two years later, the more I learn about filmaking the more I appreciate how amazing this short film is. The composition. The story. Sound design. Color grading. Even selecting the places he films. All of it is taken into consideration. It's not a shock that Danny is now creating feature films.

That was absolutely beautiful! Cycling is what has gotten me this far in life... I love my bikes. I speak to them. They all have different souls... Different characteristics... But the one thing we all share is my heartbeat and love for one another. I've convinced many people to ride... and they thank me for it.
Please do a breakdown of the voice-over, it sounded so great! But it almost sounded rehearsed it was so perfect? How do you interview? Do you do re-takes? Do you tell him to say or repeat particular sentences? Just a general break-down of the interview/voice over is on my wish-list! You are talented in so many ways!

@evan Anderson. I liked the use of b roll. A lot of times people shoot slow mo as the default. I like the use of still footage. Also he’s a cyclist, so for me the pacing just connected with the movement of riding a bike. I can understand you thinking it felt rushed because normally the music is slower and more storytelling but each project calls for something different.

I truly admire how master cinematographers can bring so much emotion and story with the moody tones, keeping some scenes so dark yet everything is there and brings even more attention to the video. Really fantastic. Such strongediting with its tempo changes and shifts in narration, I loved the surprise of the bongo + signs. One of the best examples of immersive sound design I've seen ( heard) in a long while, there is a lot of depth there that comes out over a few views. I loved the little jump in on the camera shutter. Inspires me to go deeper, great work Danny!
