I bought this album on CD years ago. I've just listened to this song again & I never realised until now that Roy Harper was singing About events happening in the future which is now, & 2020 too 🇬🇧‼️
The guy is a genius - I’ve seen him in big venues and small and he has a presence - it is pure honesty, and we could all do with a little of that these days
Pure genius writing, playing and OH the singing!! Unfortunately, for us, The Apocalypse is Now, All hands are on the Keyboard, Hardly any on the Plow. The Mice became the Men, Far too Late. But, Not Everybody goes Insane...so, catch you on the flip side? The insanity is that tens of millions havenʻt heard this masterwork!! WTF??
Could he be George Orwell in disguise or are we all to paretic to realise what's going on he knew Roy Harper did listen to McGowan's Blues and get the gist. This is a magnificent song. Just change the line W.T.O. to W.H.O. and your spot on Roy. By the way I love you and your musisic thoughts and mind and always will

its a good song but steppenwolf did a song same title in the 60s with the same message but not so subtle
Roy has been singing songs with the same message since the early 70s. Shame people ignored the messengers.
