Sofirn IF22a - Brighter on Samsung 30T/40T Battery?

- In this video, I test whether the Sofirn IF22a produces more light when using a Samsung 30T/40T cell compared to the stock Sofirn 5000mAh cell.

Results: The 30/40T produced an additional 10 lux using the ceiling bounce test than the stock Sofirn 5000mAh battery.
Update 09/08/22: I performed a spring bypass on this light with some heavy gauge wire - and it boosts the lux figures quite significantly. However, it was a short test and I damaged both 30T cells by forgetting to file off the excess solder on the tail spring (MAKE SURE YOU REMEMBER TO DO THAT!!). Waiting on new 30T cells to arrive to retest. - Věda a technologie

Interesting... Probably more resistance in that cell then. Samsung 30T has the highest draw for me
Hi.Sovern battery is cheap compared to fenix and nitecore. Is it original and powerful with the same specifications as Phoenix, Manker, or Nightcore?
I've found Sofirn batteries are not high drain, so people opt for the Molicel P42A, Samsung 30T/40T for better performance in light that require 8A+

For 21700s, I suggest buying some Samsung 40T cells. Or Molicel P42A. They have good capacity and high draw.

How about Samsung 50e? Not good?
It's a good cell but max 10A draw and more internal resistance. I'd go the 30T for max brightness and draw. You sacrifice on run time though.

For a FET light like the IF22A, I'd recommend something like the Molicel P42A, Samsung 30T or 40T. They all have higher draw rate up to 30A+@@Mastergaming-qw8cl
