    Mine is a 1981 3600 diesel, had 9 years, and I LOVE it dearly. I did the same thing you did when I brought home. I drove up and down the road testing it out. It has never failed me. These are very well engineered and built tractors. Enjoy!!!

    After reading the comments, I like that you bought a farm size tractor with no idea what you'd use it for. 😄 I've thought about doing so myself.

    As I recall from talking with my ex-father-in-law, who did some farming, you'll want to keep the tractor off of paved surfaces as much as possible, to not wear the tires excessively. Nice tractor!

    It's Nice and I Really Like Ford Tractors and Cars, but We have a 3000 Diesel that is a 1968 model and I was really looking for a video about the power steering on it, but so far I can't find one. I noticed that the front wheels were kinda spread out a little bit wider than Ours, I am wondering if that is what Ours needs. It is having problems turned in one direction. My Brother-in-law put a front end loader on it for a few years and I don't think that He put some of the steering components back exactly like they go.

    You should be careful in running that tractor at full speed on the street or anywhere for that matter. That tractor is very heavy and brakes are very weak.

      What Is More good gas or Diesel

    • @thatswiss1385
      @thatswiss1385 Před 5 lety +2

      @@alexparedes5264 it depends. Gasoline is good for light duty work and you can refuel it easy if you have some gasoline at home for your car. Gasoline tractors are a bit cheaper too, because they aren't that popular.
      Diesel tractors have more torque, and they are better for professional use because they consomate less when the engine needs to deliver power. But they are more expensive when buying.

I'm looking for a 4 or 5000 to use on our farm. I just like to drive them and listen to the engine and watch the cap on the exhaust stack bob up and down when it idles.

      The Fords have 3 cylinder Gas and diesel engines. The transmission and rear end have overflow check plugs but no dipstick. You add 134 D hydraulic fluid until fluid starts running out of the check plugs.
