Honestly, how many Qbs aren't system quarterbacks, tho? Just out of the top NFL Qbs Lamar Jackson, Hurts, Herbert, Prescott, and Purdy, many would say function in a scheme system based on their skills. Only maybe Mahomes, Allen, and Burrow would be safe to play any system. Tua is almost exactly what scouts projected him to be, a lefty Drew Brees.
@@tay8259 Drew Brees could play in multiple systems. As of right now Tua can't. We'll see if this changes , but the chances of him becoming a true superstar QB aren't likely
I don't know about any system with Brees having an avg arm and limited mobility. He only played great in one system for his career, which lead to why I think most Qbs are system Qbs anyway. Definitely agree with Tua not being a True Superstar Qb by the way. However, he's easily a top 10 qb going in to this year.
@@tay8259 Brees played on two teams with different offenses. They ran similar stuff that he did in San Diego but New Orleans was a different offense. I wouldn't put Tua in the top 10. Top 15-20. He never wins a big game against the good to greater teams. Other than one game against a poor Ravens secondary Tua has never won game almost single handily.
Look if you are crediting Brees for playing in San Diego as multi system capable, then Tua also played in an offense under conservative Flores and had a winning record. I thought if you watched the 1st game vs the Chargers, he was the main factor in that game, better than Herbert in the clutch also the 1st Buffalo game in 22' in the heat, he was clutch in the 4th qtr and was concussed by the way. Also almost pulled out a shoot out against Allen in the snow the 2nd game 22'. Look it I'm not saying he's this great superstar, but you choose to see want you want to support a narrative, like he can't win big games or win in the cold when there's proof he can do both. @Shinobi33

@@Jeremiah.0 oh okay, I thought it's some NFL lingo
First
Tua does some things exceptionally well, but he's a system QB. With a weak arm, who can't run anymore and has trouble reading defenses.
