I don't think you realize how much you touch some of our lives, there are so many days when I get off from working all night and it's been a really sad or hard night (especially in this field and area specifically and with the past year and a half) that I see your video posted notification pop-up on my phone and I get excited to get home and settled so I can watch. Your enthusiasm, happiness expression even even you're hurting or injured, your upbeat personality and excitement about whatever it is you're talking about just makes me laugh and washes away the stress and just like a light switch shifts the mood to positivity -- it's like watching a little girl on Christmas morning so excited to see what Santa left her under the tree and you never have a bad video even when you don't like the stuff you're talking about you're still so upbeat and happy it just sets such a wonderful tone for all of us and I just wanted you to know that you make a difference to your viewers and what you do is meaningful in so many more ways than just reviewing makeup. Thank you for blessing our lives with your joy in each video and giving us something to smile about and look forward to.😊
I still go back to your videos for tips and reviews. You totally predicted the future about the foundation that just launched. After he came out with the newest eyeshadow palette, I picked up the soft sculpt products, and glad to have found your video on it. It makes it less intimidating for someone like me, new to cream products.❤

i’m not going to lie babygirl, his first collection didn’t have anything that truly caught my attention, buuuuut this collection has my absolute full attention. i love the way all of these products look and i also appreciate that he has little recommendations on which colors suit which skin tones the most. i also love that there’s both cream and powder products, and they look stunning on you. i feel soooo badly that your highlighter came broken (yet again) but it still looks so amazing on your skin. it legit looks like it melted into your skin. i hope that you’re able to get a new one. i have like 6 of these products in my sephora cart as we speak, along with other makeup, but i always put a bunch of my wishlist products in my cart when i’m in the hospital, because it just helps me pass through time so i don’t go absolutely insane. send help! send the cavalry! 🆘

Hi Mel! I serendipitously saw your video of you talking about Wayne Goss, that he uploaded to his channel. I thought I had seen all of his videos, apparently not, since I missed seeing you. What caught my attention is your buzz cut and how well your make-up looked and I got excited. Here's why. I have been battling Advanced Ovarian Cancer and been on Chemo treatments since January. I ended up losing all my hair and I mean ALL my hair. My skin's texture has changed to the point it's difficult to get makeup to stick well, that's what Chemo does to the skin.
I have looked for a while now to find makeup artist/hobbyist, who has Cancer and who is on Chemo, to get help learning how to put on makeup. Unbelievable so, it's nearly impossible. But, then you came along and I just became your subscriber. I was totally bald on my head, but my hair is beginning to grow out a tiny bit, it's at the length your hair was in Wayne's video. Sad to say, women who are Cancer patients and are on Chemo are like an invisible part of the makeup community.
Buuuuuuuuuut.......because of you, if and when I ever get all the makeup issues figured out, I am thinking of starting my own CZcams makeup tutorial videos for women like me and other women who feel they can benefit from my videos. You totally inspired me to do this! Thank you so much!
Nothing from his first release caught my attention but almost everything from this one got me so excited! I purchased a contour stick, powder bronzer, blush and highlighter. The only item I didn’t get was a blush stick because I seem to be the only one in the beauty space right now who doesn’t like cream/liquid products, specifically blushes and highlighters. So far I think they’re all gorgeous 💜
P.S. I saw someone else receive a broken highlighter from Mario’s website but then noticed that those who purchased from Sephora didn’t have any issues with items coming from the Sephora site. I would ask Mario’s CS team to send you a new highlighter.
The hilight blush and bronzer have given you a soft gorgeous effect and in my opinion, the best I have seen on you 👍

I picked up a few products and I’m loving them also. But I do want a few more. Maybe that highlighter, my daughter loved that color but I didn’t know how it would look on me. But you’re probably lighter than me so if it works for you, it should work for me. 🤎🤎🤍🤍💖

It's nice seeing that u do the dream over the powder . I've found certain creams don't like that but oh well I just sterilize it and give it to a friend. But yes the double ended with the brush no I do not like those brushes either.

I bought it and am in love w the sculpting stick, the cream blush. I love how they include the dual brush bc he says use it not a brush and TAP it into the application and damn he was right it works for me at least. I saw a huge diff tapping it instead of using a blender or brush. RBK said same thing. First items I bought in a longggggg time.
This look is stunning...i'm really impressed with the Mario products. I have not purchased any, but they all are getting pretty consistent positive reviews, so i'm tempted. Especially by the highlighters and the metal-mixing palette.
I personally would contact the company about the broken highlighter. It's never going to be the same after you press it with alcohol. And that way they'll know there's an issue with them. Just my opinion though.❤❤

These have been in my cart... So we'll see! Isn't it annoying to receive broken things! I received a Pat McGrath palette yesterday with the special shade smashed to bits... And there's no way we could press it, the whole thing was a wreck. I'm not a fan of the way Sephora packs my items, they put packing paper in the bottom and then they just sling all your stuff on top so my Pat McGrath palette did not make it, the other two palettes in there one of which was the new Patrick Ta palette, it wasn't smashed thankfully. ♥️ Have a good day Mel! -SweetHomeAlamanda
I agree completely. I feel like every time I order from Sephora something is smashed. And I don’t think it’s the fault of the products, but how poorly Sephora packs things.

My friend’s highlighter arrived broken too. I tested the cream blush in Sephora and it’s really beautiful. I will try his face products once i power through what i already have. They’re very nice tho. I love his eyeshadow quads too.

I think I actually prefer the blush powder 1st with a lil of the cream blush on top. I probably wouldn't have ever tried it that way without this video. Thank you for sharing! 🌻💙

I think the brush end on the cream sticks r meant for ppl who r only using that on their face and out the door. U know like how Trestique or NudeStix has those blending ends on all their products all of them. Some ends r brush tips some r sponges some r bigger smaller depending on the products. Like the cheek stuff has bigger the eye stuff has smaller. I think all of those things r for ppl who sometimes just put blush bronzer etc on with no base foundation and go out the door. Or a skin tint maybe. Don't ask me how my comments end up being 2 yrs long I have a problem I know I never intend for it to be that way but it ends up that way anyways uggghh. I need to stop myself! 🤭😜💘

This is a very pretty more natural or everyday look you created. I heard his neutral palette that you’re wearing is very good.
I have the neutral palette and it's now the only neutrals palette I own. It's so good, and covers the whole range of neutrals and undertones. It's also an awesome companion palette to the more colorful or sparkly shades I wear regularly.

Mel, when you showed that broken highlighter I thought "oh that sucks. I won't buy that!" But when you put it on, I thought "ooh I like that!" And immediately went to the Sephora app to see how much it is in Canadian dollars 😄
The cream blushes are gorgeous! I want another color and a powder in creamy peach. But I am waiting on my Jaclyn cosmetics cream blush and powder blush palette. I want to do a head to head and buy another shade in whichever is my fav.

How long wearing is the Patrick Ta eyeliner in the waterline during the summer?

On me it smudged under my eyes from my upper waterline pretty quickly even though I held out my eyelid for over 60 seconds to let it set without blinking. I do not have oily lids, was not wearing any heavy creams or concealer, and was in dry air that was about 76 degrees. At the same time, I had a hard time washing all of it off. On me it was a weird combo of smudgy and long-lasting, which meant I had smudges under my eyes again that night and then again the next morning despite my having taken remover on a q-tip and then cleansing as usual.
@@mortypickles thank you for the reply :) it sounds finicky and I always put eyeliner in my waterline so having it ‘clean’ easy is important to me. I guess I will stick to my Charlotte Tilbury ones, they stay all day but they are so creamy that I find myself always having to sharpen them. Let me know of your favorite formulas if you have any!

I still have enough of my Milk liners that I haven’t had to try many other quite yet, but some that I have had over the past few years that performed better for me on the upper waterline than the Patrick Ta liner (in addition to the CT) but not as well as the Milk liners are Pat McGrath, Thrive, and L’Oreal Infallible Longwear Eye Pencil.

Great review. I have been eyeing this collection. I loved everything on you. The powder blush reminds me of the Hermès blushes (which are hellishly overpriced). (ABH is releasing bronzer or blush (?) sticks with a brush at the other end, and I am very curious to see how the brushes compare). Have a great Sunday.

Hey Mel would u buy the New Burberry Essential Glow Face Palettes to test out so we can see if both shade Palettes work for all?? That's what seems to be the case. I just wanna make sure b4 I buy 1 of them. Both look amazing but the darker one is calling my name bc the blush and highlighter shades r so my things. I've seen fair snowflake skin use the deep one lightly and it works bc its like sheer or easy to blend. Seen deep complexions use the deep and the light as well. I would love ur opinion. I don't have any burberry stuff but these palettes caught my attention bc they're so pretty plus pretty on ppl. I saw recently ppl said just get the Burberry Face palette instead of the new LV cheek palette it's basically the same thing being the baked gelee. But u get way more for less with Burberry face palettes.

Hi Mel! How are you? I have to say that Mario’s line just isn’t doing it for me…I bought everything he came out with, not these, but at the beginning. Anyway love a skin tint, have you tried Ilia’s skincare tint? I love it and there is 40 proof sunscreen. I like that one for when I’m outside & the Fenty one when I’m just chillin! Tootles 💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🌈💋🐶

Does pressing it back with alcohol mess with the formula or the way it performs? I honestly can’t think of how to say what I mean lol. For instance I got the biba palette the black shade cane broke I pressed it back in without using anything and I don’t feel it preforms the sane as the other cream to powder shades.
The light medium powder read so orange on me. I was so sad!

I ordered from him when he released his first line with the eyeshadows nothing was broken I would guess it’s the packaging and or mailman throwing packages 📦 carelessly!! I’d email them they’ll replace it!
