  • So, in response to viewer requests, here is a look at the band saw guides I built (originally for a wooden band saw) which are now being swapped in to replace the ones of my Jet band saw.

    The simplest diy guide I've seen!
    I' m going to build mine, but instead of wood I'll be using Micarta, a kind of phenolic composite, workable like wood but it doesn' shrink or expand

    Thank you. Net time i don't need to buy spare parts from manufacturer. What's the wood it's made from? beech? Greetings Thomas
