  • Hello Guys, Welcome to a new episode of the channel. Friends, you must have heard the name of Hubble Telescope, yes the same telescope which has helped us to know those secrets of space, we could not even imagine living. Millions of kilometers away planets have also been shown by this Hubble telescope, but now the time has come to take this exploration of space a step forward, that is why the world's top class space organizations are making a new telescope which is also the father of Hubble and It can give us such secrets of space that you have never imagined, so in today's video we will talk about this telescope. Friends, the name of this telescope which is going to be launched is James Webb Space Telescope. NASA, ESA and CSA are developing the James Webb telescope. The James Webb Telescope began construction in 1996, and the telescope is named after former NASA administrator James Webb who played a role in the Apollo program. The telescope, which began construction in 1996, was targeted to be completed by 2006, with a budget of $500 million. But after a lot of delays, the budget of this telescope increased a lot and even in 2005, a major redesign had to be done in this telescope. 2016 was the year when the Webb telescope was ready and its testing phase started, all three space agencies started testing it. Its launch was delayed in 2018 because the telescope's sunshield broke during testing, again in June 2018 a delay happened and in March 2020 its launch was again delayed due to Kovid. Then its launch date was shifted to 31 October 2021, but due to a defect in the Ariane 5 launch vehicle that will take this telescope into space, its launch has been delayed again, but finally NASA's final launch of this telescope. The date has been given as 18 December 2021. Listen carefully to this date and remember because if this telescope is successfully launched on December 18, then a new history will be created and many secrets of space will be revealed to us. This telescope will be launched from the arianespace ELA-3 launch complex located near French Guiana.
Now let's know about the specifications of this James Webb telescope.
First comes the weight of this telescope, James Webb's mass is about half that of Hubble, but the dmmeter of James Webb's primary midroe is 6.5 meters. Which is made up of 18 hexagon shaped mirrors. Also, this complete mirror is a 100 nano meter gold coated beryllium mirror which has the ability to reflect any infrared radiation in the best way. This telescope will catch the infrared radiation emanating from any celestial object in the universe and will reach the information of that architecture to us. James Webb Telescope will be operated from earth sun lagrange point 2.This L2 point is about 15,000,000 km beyond Earth's orbit. Currently, the Hubble Telescope operates at less than 550 feet above the Earth's surface. At the same time, the moon, which is our natural satellite, is also at a distance of about 4,00,000 km from the earth. To avoid this telescope from the heat coming from the sun and other objects in this telescope, a sunshield consisting of 5 layers has been installed in it, whose dimensions are about 21 m * 14 m. If we talk about other instruments of this telescope, then first comes a near infra red camera, this camera will be the main eye of this telescope which will help us to find very old stars, galaxies and other things present in space, The second instrument is the Near Infrared Spectrograph, which will help us to understand the physical, chemical compositions and temperature and mass of objects in space, this spectrograph can study about 100 objects at a time simultaneously. The third instrument, which is installed in James Webb, is the Mid-infrared instrument, it will have both a Basikli camera and a spectrograph and this instrument will help in studying distant galaxies, newly forming stars, comments and the Kuiper Belt. The fourth main instrument that is in James Webb is (Fine Guidance Sensor or Near Infrared Imager and Slitless Spectrograph), its work will be to detect light, detect exoplanets and do their quasitralogy, as well as doing transit spectroscopy of exoplanets.
