Probably one of the best tracks in the game and few people realize it due to Mom's sounds and the fact that they're important cues. Or you're so overpowered that she dies in seconds.
Sometimes, when I'm playing this game, I'll be smacked with the realization that it's about an abused kid who has a mother who wants to kill him (Yeah, it's obvious, it's in the intro, but it's easy to forget when you're focusing on gameplay). Sometimes it'll be during the mom fight, when I pick up items like the divorce papers or the torn photo - but one thing that always gets me, every time, is one line of loading text. "Are you sure you want me to die?" I can't help but imagine Isaac asking that to his mother, and it's like a gut punch every time. This poor kid.
So hey, the true true final supreme endings came out and in reality- SPOILERS BELOW!!!: Isaac's mom was off her meds because daddy gambled it all away, and has put the family in jeopardy. As a result, because she lost her meds, she accidentally makes Isaac feel bad, so he ended his own life, a while after his mom kept throwing him in the closet. Only the Bible kept her ever-so-slightly hinged, but she still took it out on Isaac.
Suffixcide: The act of murder. Homicide: doctor assisted murder. Genocide: a kill streak of a rogue person. Matricide: Killing your mom. Infanticide: Killing a child. Hericide: Killing a Leader/God. Ventricide: Killing of the heart.
