Eric Dier has played in the same amount of CL semi finals as Arsenal have in their entire history
As a Tottenham fan, our fanbase have seen Eric Dier is no mug. He's a fine defender who can organize the defensive line who can play both right and left side of the backline. Everyone in the media was talking about Arsenal need to stop Harry Kane in order to beat Bayern. But it was Eric Dier who stopped Arsenal's attack over the two legs.

I dont support Spurs but Dier was constantly error prone particularly towards end of his tenure. Was a laughing stock to other teams fans.He wouldn't suit Ange ball either. No pace to play in that high defensive line.

Arsenal are doing well the last two seasons with good performances over a long stretch but to say they've closed the gap on City and Liverpool I feel is wrong. Man City and Liverpool have lowered their standards of play (which is crazy considering City won the treble last season but there were signs of issues last season which haven't been fixed this season so they've more come to light with some players that have left)
Liverpool have done good business but a little too late and its affected the team. They didn't bring in new midfield engines, or replace the number 6 early enough. Liverpools stregths that helped that defence and attack work all together was the three in the middle during their high times. Henderson, Fabs & Gigi were great off and on the ball and really made it easier for the attack and defence (it allowed others to have their strengths highlighted in both sides of the field for liverpool, gave the freedom)

First time i saw arteta stay within the line drawn for coaches. And the look of not knowing what to do - saw this before at around this time of year for three years in a row - just a heartwarming watch. It was beautiful.
