- In the summer of 2021 we brought "Beautiful", our 1934 Ford 5w Coupe home from Michigan. Over the remainder of the year, and in to 2022, we worked on getting this amazing time capsule back onto the road. We of course could not leave it bone stock, and did some tasteful modifications that still maintained the originality. We hope you enjoy and Happy Holidays!!

My family drove a 1934 five window coupe from Cleveland, Ohio to Los Angles' California in 1945. We did the return trip in 1947. My father fitted two inward facing jump seats behind the front seat, so that our family of five could fit in. Parents and one kid on the bench seat and two kids in the back seat. You brought back many memories with this video. MHB
Merry Christmas to everyone and your family
Thank you for the gift! Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas to all of you!
Stunning find, what a gorgeous old beast, thanks for sharing guys, great production!
Merry Christmas , and thanks for the memories.!!🎅
All good Memories Merry Christmas Matt Mike and Steve 🎅🏻
Always love "rescues" of old Fords. Jealous mine wasn't a hot model. 1935 Ford Town Sedan 4 door, 85HP V8, was mine in 1956. Little old lady car that her son made her park it after a few minor fender dents in too short a time frame. Still had 1948 lic plates. Dark Blue, pale yellow wire wheels, old fashion seat covers from new. No driver lic (was only 15) and by spring '57 both heads cracked open with no AF. I got a "47 sedan for an engine, which I rebuilt with zero "how to". Mixed up everything and had to rope tow to break it loose. Never would run over 60mph, would slow down. Finally got a '51 110 HP V8 which reved like crazy, till it didn't.
Merry Christmas to all!
Merry Christmas fellas…and moon! God bless
Definitely named appropriately
Awesome job on the edited version of Beautiful ! What a Christmas gift ! I started watching this thinking , " Oh cool , they found some more cars ." Then I thought , " Wow , that car looks just like Beautiful ! " Then the owner said that's what the original lady who owned it called it . She turned out quite nice , & one of my favorite restoration / builds . She's still Beautiful , at 88 , soon to be 89 . She don't look a day over 21 ! Lol ! Claire would be smiling right about now . Nice job , & merry Christmas to all who frequent the Iron Trap Garage ! Stay warm ! Baby , it's cold outside !
Àaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Merry Christmas ITG Crew
Wow best barn find every !!! cool
Nice to see this series condensed into one episode. It's a lovely car, I have a 33 5W. Merry Christmas, team ITG and here's to an interesting and satisfying 2023. Mart in England.
The 1934 5Window coup was a find. Blown engine was not what you wanted. But having another engine available was really a plus. Matt I have enjoyed your videos all the time. Because of the care you give them. Blessings! And Merry Christmas to all! ✝️🎄❤️🎁
Merry Christmas
I was so happy to see you keep it in the Ford family by putting in another flathead.
I'd love a 34 Five Window coupe. My dad built one as a race car back in the 50's when I was 7or 8.
That car has the wright name! BEAUTIFUL! Merry Christmas to you all!
Better than a Christmas story. Merry Christmas to all, thanks for the video

MERRY CHRISTMAS MATT, MIKE, AND STEVE, and all your families! And give Moon a BIG bone for being the Shop Foreman & Security this year!
Man I’m so glad y’all got that tan paint off! Looked like when John boy Walton painted his beautiful blue ford with tan house paint!
I'm a recent subscriber thanks for your great content and best wishes from Columbus Ohio USA 👍
Love the car's name, love the license plate, seems like Claire was one sweet lady.

Mike Great job editing! I’ve watched every episode of “Beautiful “ and you did awesome not leaving out any important parts! Merry Christmas to you your Family and the whole Gang @ ITG!
There really is nothing as good as your channel anywhere on CZcams. Merry Christmas!
Thanks so much!
Merry Christmas everyone!!!
I love Iron Trap Garage because you guys are enthusiasts with a love for automotive history. You take barn cars and get them back on the road without the big bucks and fanfare of others in the business. You guys are into hot rods (and why not?), but you also acknowledge the history and the value of an intact original car. "Beautiful" is such a car, and I know that you will preserve an old classic like this... Owned by a little old lady no less!!
I like it when you get an old Hot Rod up and running or do a period build on an old chassis/parts pile too. You guys are Professionals.
I lget a little excited when you go on a treasure hunt in an old warehouse or barn and haul off a trailer full of treasure! ITG is unique, you go Guys!
Oh, Beautiful indeed! A real preservation, tastefully done! Congratulations team itg!
Congrats! Merry Christmas Yall.
Back in the day that is what the oil did when in contact with moisture. Many times when removing a valve cover you could find it completely full of sludge that looked like a block of black jello.
I hope Santa brings the Hot Rod guys and gals a little something to help with their projects. Thanks for all the inspiration ITG. Happy Holidays to all !!!!!!
Are you flippin' kidding me? I was born around the time when the guy you acquired it from bought it and this has been, and always will be, one of my favorite cars. To find it the way you did, to keep her and get her going like you did is something I have dreamed about. Thank you for sharing. Gotta get me a tshirt now!
What a dream find

Congratulations to miss beautiful she's back on the road and with a good daddy.
Thankyou for sharing this amazing experience whenever I see a vid like this it makes me feel really happy that people like you are still out there caring for these awesome vehicles... Happy Motoring....
Really cool montage and Merry Christmas ITG!!!
You guys are Deserving Lee lucky!
Merry Christmas to you and your family from mine, have a great one!
Thank you for keeping your videos to about half hour. Everyone else seems to be running into one hour plus. I never sit still for that long and I like to watch something from start to finish. Others seem to enjoy showing welding flash on camera too, once you've seen fireworks once enough is enough. Clever editing and time lapse used to good advantage is the secret youve found. Good work guys and best wishes from an old school film maker.
Thanks for watching Roger!
Some people talk so slowly that you can change the playback speed up to 1.5 and still understand them. I've been doing that for over two years. Click on the gear icon.
Well done….she is a keeper…
What an amazing car, she is indeed "beautiful", and what a life she must have had with that lady owner! It would be so cool if you could get a photo of that previous owner to show with the car!
Truly awesome, this is why i love this channel in restoring them to a certain point more ppl need to do this.
This 34 is KILLER! Love it!
Thanks for not chopping it up, renewing the spirit of the car , sweet ride.
88 years old and still beautiful, thanks for the recap Matt. Merry Christmas to you and your team.
it deserves to be. fully restored. to it's. original. glory
Wishing Happy Holidays to the Irontrap crew.
That car is in awesome condition. What a beauty!!
Excellent show
Matt Beautiful is worth restoring
You find some of the coolest stuff..amazing how old cars fire right up after sitting for so long... I bet the cars nowadays will never do that..appreciate yah. Keep up the hard work
Thanks so much for your outstanding efforts in keeping classic cars on the road it's our duty as car guys to at least do one car so we can recycle ♻ our past with our future keep up your efforts sorry I can't support you financially but I will smash that like as many times as possible
We appreciate you watching !
Definitely "BEAUTIFUL". Thank you.
Beautiful!!! Henry would be proud !!!
Bonnie rolling out !!!
She's def earned that name. What a find , wow
Holy crap..you have all the luck!
Great video from start to finish. What a great barn find story! Although I’m a big fan of sensible, quality modifications to cars, I’m glad to see you’re keeping this beautiful gem original. It seems it just popped out of a Time Machine. By the way, I’m watching your video in Germany. Thanks for sharing your experience and for all the effort you put into making your videos.
Great Christmas present, guys !! Love that '34
Glad it's found a new home in Germany. Kinda sad it didn't end up here but a think it will be OK. Make sure to have them check in with you once in a while to see the progress they have made with the old gjrl
Beautiful is right! And only a 2-owner vehicle! Absolutely brilliant work man.
