    Track mode is actually putting less wear on the transmission... it doesn't have to slip itself as much creating less heat and wear

  • @markherc
    @markherc Před rokem +13

    Also in street mode the transmission starts in 1st gear at a stop. Eco mode starts in 2nd which can make your car feel sluggish in parking lots or parking structures. At 11:00 in the video, you talk about cold starts being louder, it will be the same sound as any other mode, when remote starting the baffles open all the way.

    You definitely messed that explanation all the way up lol eco-mode in the scat pack gives you 300 hp eco-mode in the hellcat gives you 500 hp all of the other modes as full power of the vehicle. It just changes, the throttle control, suspension and steering on the scat pack once you go into sport, it turns off the ability to drop down to four cylinders that’s it

Street your everyday mode the car even starts in street for a reason its just your basic all around, sport is for top speed runs thats by far the fastest mode for the car basically for rolls gives longer gears to get more power an speed laid out an track is for dig otherwise the quickest mode through the gears an aggressive to have that fun. I preferably ride sport when im feeling speedy an track when im in the neighborhood trying to act a ass eco when im on the highway to build my mpg up.

    Eco mode in a hellcat is the same as street. So this for us hellcat guys is null. Cylinder deactivation is not a thing for hellcats. The only thing these modes are doing is changing shift points, firmness, throttle response and so forth., unless in a hellcat, then you take on different mapping of the pcm. The power for 392’s and 5.7’a is there constantly.. suggestion, learn to keep your foot out of it and keep it in sport or custom. the only thing eco does is cause premature wear on those cylinders. ( yes these “ engineers “ ) claim that cylinder deactivation is not hard on the engine, but look around in forums and on youtube, you will find a plethora of people having cylinder deactivation issues, dropping valve seats, and so forth. Its one of the worst things any auto manufacturer could come up with. More so for those who are not car savvy.
