How do you kill mechathun?
First off the most troll mechathun deck was bluff lock that toast played which was just mechathun warlock that just didn’t have mechathun in hit and made your opponent concede
And when they hex/poly ur mechathun u just concede, right?
It could be even silenced... well, it's still a strong deck because very few people uses this type of cards and even so probably when the Mechathun is played, they probably have already used poly-hex on other minions.

@@biggeorge3173 no you are right, silence doesn't work, only hard removal I.e hex, polymorph, plague of murlocs, and maybe some more I can't think off the top of my head. But yes da undatakah works off dead death rattle minions, not death rattles that took place that game.

@@kinga4b124 Yeah you got it pretty much right on the nose. It's what's called Silence/Transform (or just Transform for short) - apart from those you mentioned, all other cards like those, I believe, are Wild-only (and still only for Mage and Shaman): Devolve, and Polymorph: Boar.

Definitely the dual pally. I have had a fair amount of fun and success playing that deck, whereas I am currently 3 and 7 with this deck. Seems kinda shit to be honest. You have to be fairly luck with the draws.
Jeff Lee really? What draws does this one depend on? Cuz, just from an outside perspective, it seems like duel pally is heavy on draws cuz you gotta hit the vargoth and duels and lens rathe then drawing big minions. This one just seems like good ok control warrior with a little more fun involved.

A concept I miss is the cross class cards.
Swap out the 3 duplicates for 2 cheap but useful deathrattles and Zeprhys. Something else to charge undatakah with if you need to play him early for survival or against shaman.
but what if you dont need to play him early? Then the combo wont work if has other death-rattles in him

what happens when your mechathun gets silenced and then killed?
As long as Mecha'Thun is killed Da Undatakah still gets its deathrattle effect. If Mecha'Thun is polymorphed, hexed or transformed Undatakah will not get the deathrattle effect. Silencing and killing it right away is ok.
Doesn’t silence also counter this deck?
It's possible, if they silence the last Mecha'Thun deathrattle effect. So if Mecha'Thun is silenced and killed and Undatakah gets its deathrattle and is not silenced that's ok. If both get silenced, its very bad, haha.
The other thing is that if you silence a deathrattle, N’zoth wont resummon it. Is it the same for Da Undatakeh? They have pretty similar card text.

Mecha'thun warrior has always been fun. This one looks more flexible than the Boomship/Malygos version.Depending on what you hit with Jepetto you've got some options.

Any deck with good deathrattles such as Whelp or this deck. He works great in Quest Pali as well
What if you never draw Mecha'tun or Undatakah with Jepetto? There would be the option to Shield Slam Untakah for five but if it's a good opponent he usually tries to get rid of your armour. Guys I need a little help to find a solution to this last resort thing other than Boomship Malygos one if there is one. Thank you very much!
Undatakah inner rage devastate is lethal for 9 mana. Jepetto only helps make it easier
Vasile, the combo is: Mechathun dies, then you play undatakah, inner rage him, then devastate. You ONLY get rid of these cards if you Jepetto either one of them OR you have enough armor at the end of the game to not worry about losing it all. Against aggro forget about the combo, just be control warrior.

This is the king of combo decks. An uber control deck that finishes with an auto win condition. The literal only way to kill it is to snipe mechathun with polymorph/frog or mill it. Thanks for the cancer Kripp, hopefully next week you find some chemo for this thing.

Also what people dont realise - is that the older version of control warrior was better than the taunt one.
unfortunate this will never be a tier 1 deck. Hard countered by silence or transform effects on the mechathun. Really cool to see it out tempoing aggressive decks though.

@@MrBertpetis not weird at all, undatakah copies deathrattle minions that died. Even if you silence a deathrattle minion, it still counts as a "deathrattle minion" it doesn't delete it text from the game.

And how do you win against shaman? I mean you have to play Undatakha first und afterwards kill your Mecha'Thun. But how? Since you don't run Galvanizer you can't play anything besides MThun that turn
It's not really a new deck by any means. Played it already before SoU. It became worse because the Hero costs more and I would even consider to cut him completely in Mecha'thun Warrior.

I played this some time ago and I was getting my C'Thun polimorfed or hexxed all the time so The Undertaker was useless... 10/10 is a perfect target for hard removal so you basically loose vs mage or shaman. :(

@@SzymonMSabat any minion is vulnerable to removal, its not worse with cthun than with others. If you dont have decent baits, modify your deck to include them. Most 10/10 Minions are powerful baits, or 8/8
@@lorenzoherreros6641 it is worse for cthun because if cthun will be silenced or transformed, de undetakah will not trigger its deathrattle and the combo won't work... and if you just stick a bunch of 8/8 minions, you won't survive early game, come on.
@@SzymonMSabat its very unusual for silences to be kept till that late, and the premise "why use this Minion if It can be polymorphed?" Could easily apply to 99'99% of the minions in game, and people still use them. (Like the lich king, tirion, ysera....) Cthun is a pretty good card in the right context and difficult to counter in most games. Can be countered? Yeah, like EVERY other card in the game. But if you play correctly you can consistently pull It off. Also, obviously, you use smaller minions at first and powerful Minions in the late Game, theres quite a lot of decks that survive pretty well with a decent number of Big minions
