Hey KL, I put the gold cup stokems on the penny. It worked out great! The board feels a lot more smooth on the street, and the large lip made it have an extra sense of control!

Where did you get that board? The only banana boards I can find are the 4 on amazon.com from Gold Cup, or whatever. Is there a website I can get a different colorway by Gold Cup?
Debating to get either a penny or a stereo vynil cruiser i decided to go with with the cruiser simply beacuse all that a will be using it for is cruising and getting around eiser and for a lower price than the penny are there any good upgrades or anything i can do to make the cruiser a better board? Great video. I've been looking into the cool retro kind of boards for awhile and caved in and bought a Kryptonics Torpedo. Not bad for 40 bucks, but it definitely needs a bit of upgrading to get the best ride. I think I'll have to grab one of those Banana Boards too!

I somehow have my penny flip over having the deck on the road resulting to scratches whenever I use it. I got a 22" soda fade and the scratches peels of the color making it white. Any tips on making my deck smooth? Please reply.
I think that just comes with riding a board. They're going to get beat up. My board is filled with dents and scratches. It gives it character. Hope this helps :/

Also, you mentioned the trucks of banana board being shorter than penny's -- would there be incentives to switch the truck to something higher? Emmy Garcia The bantam is an awesome board. Very comparable to the penny. I'd say you would win with either the Penny or the bantam. Stereo was a bit lower quality.

I think the best board for you would be the nickel board I live around rough surfaces and it's perfect!

with the fades, they're spray painted; resulting in the paint pealing. but it shouldn't peal too much. hoped I helped

Yes, these board are made to flex. The flexibility allows for a smoother ride.

It can help if you use the flex to your advantage. When you are pushing, get a good "bounce" in your push, so you can get some spring from your board.

I actually got one last week, and they are pretty good! :) Nice knock-off of the Penny, the only difference really is the brand name.
