So beautiful! Aside from your finds, I loved seeing the birch trees and the creeks. I swam in some of those creeks but only at Blue Creek. My mom's dad was born in Blue Creek but I never knew him: However I did know 2 of his brothers and his sister long into my young adult life. There's such an ancestral pull there for me as the land goes way back as a grant to my 8th gr grandfather for his Rev. War service. The entire area is beautiful and thanks for showing wherever you were! Hope you find many more relics!!❤

I spent a lot of my youth in Blue Creek. Maynard's (Mayme ) couldn't keep the rubber band balsa wood planes on the shelf for me and my brother. My Grandma and My Great aunt (Ruth) were both Postmasters there as well. There used to be a lumber yard across the river (Via the Train Bridge) But even before that, my Grandpa Frank had a bait store there. Was a great place to grow up as a kid. Thanks for the vid Chad.
Last time I was at Blue Creek, the Maynards had a small restaurant. IDK if it's still there.
@@user-hr3tx6uu9o Last time I went thru was about 8 years ago. The Maynard I remember was right there in Blue Creek, That nice old stone 2 story just east of the car bridge. That would be a nice restaurant.
