Change the "we were really happy" to "I was really happy" then you would understand , fall in love again and enjoy the new rinde once again.
Love the way he starts off slowly and builds it up to crazy proportions, then mellows it out at the end. Absolutely perfect.

Thank you! Actually I knew this music originally by his very first singer Claude François "Comme d'habitude". But some people like you told me how I play it really describes the same emotions despite the lyrics are very different.
I was very poor when i was a kid, one of the few toys my mom was able to get me was a teddy that played this melody and danced and pretended to play a violin... I used to listen to this song till i could fall asleep... No one imagines all the feels this melody makes me feel....
Weirdly enough, i never liked Sinatra's version.

Hugo Silver Well, the first version I heard was the melody from my teddy, so I got used to listen to this without a voice. When I heard the Sinatra's version i can't help but feel like something is there that shouldn't be.
Imagine someone decides to write and sing some lyrics to the "Moonlight Sonata", The feeling it would give you is the same I get when I listen to this song with a singing voice.
And no, never heard the original. But give me some minutes and I change that.
The beauty with which Hugo plays the piano needs no vocal. I agree with you and I heard and loved the song first when Sinatra sang it. Hugo brings it to life. No vocal needed with any of what he plays...in my opinion.

Never cared much for the way the original score sheet was written for the piano. About a year ago made a comment concerning your fine arragement and performance for the piano. And when you responded that your arrangement was not in writing, I rewrote the original score somehow with your redition and arrangement in mind. I have to admit that enjoy playing this song much better now and sounds great almost as good as yours.Thanks.

This made me cry! It reminds me an old film I saw when I was a child and I was in hospital. I was 3 if I remember well. This accompanied me during healing when I cannot saw well. So I only ask you a pleasure: have you got music sheets? I usually play song by ear, but this for me is perfect. Thank you for playing..

Tenía que cantar esta canción en un musical (totalmente amateur que hacemos en el trabajo por Navidad) y he estado oyendo muchas versiones al piano (con una orquesta son mucho peores)y ésta es la que más me ha gustado y he utilizado.
