On Camera department, I think the 4k30 video quality is better in Xiaomi. It produced slightly brighter and cleaner image and the details are better. I was clearly able to see the fishes in that Lake and far superior details in hill top castle. Daytime main camera was better in Realms whereas Xiaomi main camera looks better in Night to my eyes. Front camera was better in Realms at dark.

Do enjoy your video comparisons. Watching your review on the Xiaomi 10T Pro convinced me to get it back in 2020.
    This phone is almost perfect.
I'm surprised by the battery standby drain on this 12 you're reviewing. On my 10T Pro over night it's minimal at only a few %. Maybe around 8%. This is the longest I've kept a phone.
The audio on your 12 seem disappointing too when compared to my 10T Pro.

I have it for almost one year, after 1-2 months I thought I can use it but now I noticed that my eyes are loosing focus when using it. I am afraid I ruined my eyes because of it. And it is strange because LCD should be better than Amoled for eyes.

Xiaomi kind of shoot themselves in the foot when it comes to sound because I noticed that they actually improve the sound of their phones with updates which means they aren't doing the best when out of the box when reviewers check them. The sound of Redmi Note 10 Pro has became significantly more powerful with latest updates.

Picked up a GT2 PRO on Amazon in "open box like new" condition for a paltry $580 dollars. The key word to describe it is.. Smooooth. Multiple apps and tabs open are no problem for it and heavy gaming produces very little noticeable heat which is surprising given the reputation of the 8Gen 1.
I have the paper white version of the biopolymer back and its absolutely eye catching. Realme is not afraid to innovate and their use of recycled plastic is responsible and functional. It is bulletproof and I do believe their claims about the biopolymer keeping the device cooler.
I'd be remiss not to mention the GT2 PRO is getting 5G here in Seattle almost all day on the T-Mobile network. I was blown away when I saw the little 5G appear next to bars and realized I could now zip through apps and download documents lightning quick while out and about. This is a game changer in the US and really puts Apple, Samsung and Google on notice where that one clear advantage over Chinese companies of US 5G support is now slipping away.
Oh, and I can't get enough of that 150 degree ultra wide. Super addictive.
I think the GT2 PRO may be one of the most underrated phones of the year. To launch a new phone with no real glitches is becoming rare. That said I'm looking forward to how much better it gets with future updates.

      @@depralexcrimson still doing great.
PBK reviews did the abuse test. Turns out that despite Realme not paying for that stupid "IP" rating, which saves us money, the GT2 PRO is completely submersible.
He dunked it for 30 seconds with the screen on and pulled it out..worked fine.
He then took it apart and inside the phone there is a litmus strip that changes color to indicate water intrusion. That strip revealed no color change and thus no moisture.
He also revealed all the passive cooling elements which make this phone run cooler than most other SD 8gen1 devices.
Definitely check his channel out. He knows his shit. He also pointed out all the water seals and gaskets during disassembly.
So just because there's no IP rating doesn't mean that phones aren't water resistant. So many people are oblivious to this.
Got to give a shout out to the microscope camera. It's awesome. People call it a gimmick.. that's a bunch of BS. It's a fantastic tool. Honestly I use it more than I've ever used a telephoto lense on past phones. In fact I have a telephoto lense for my Nikon that I rarely use as well.
The biggest problem with this phone is the speakerphone is mysteriously not nearly as loud as media volume. Hopefully that's something that gets a future update fix. If you don't drive a noisy vehicle and require a loud speaker phone for calls than no big deal.
Other than that be prepared for everyone to pick it up and not give it back.. especially when they realize how nice the screen is and how good it games.
I think the GT2 PRO is a pretty good deal for 600-700 bucks. A lot of reviewers think the Pixel 6 or 7 is better bang for the buck but I have the 7 now and there's no comparison.. the Realme is so much better. It's a smoother user experience and has no glitches like the Pixel.
I really wanted the Realme GT Neo 3 but at the time there was no global version and apparently even now it has major compatibility issues in the US. The Mediatek 8100 is definitely the best chipset of the year in my opinion.

The fact that the Real me a has similar battery charging time with a bigger capacity at a lower wattage. Is very appealing when it comes to battery life longevity. And the gt2 sounds better which makes no sense at all! My only nit pick is that I wish that Real me had placed the selfie camera in the middle of the screen like the Xiaomi.

I know this comment is aggggeeess after the video was uploaded but...
The Xiaomi wins for me and the main reasons are simply that it has the IR Blaster which I've come to absolutely rely on with Xiaomi phones for the TVs around the house and the remotes getting lost all the time... The 12 Pro also has a barometer which is great for feeding altitude data into workouts with something like a Mi Band, and the 2x Optical fixed sensor is a much better setup over the silly macro focused cameras we're seeing a lot these days...
Somewhat unique to me I know, but that's that...
