thank you! really appreciate it :)) I've had pretty decent hours & good managers at work so haven't felt burnt out but it's definitely an issue for a lot of other consulting/finance junior employees :(

It's nice to see that people still enjoy going into the office. As someone who spends 30 percent of my time in classroom/office and then the rest in the community, I am tired of hearing about people wanting to work from home and not settling for anything less.
Cuz this guy has NOT much work to do. He is hired directly from school as Junior level 1 consult . He prob just check on project progress for 1-2 clients thats it. N just report for that n if clients ask for anything, he will make a ticket n PASS it to level 2, 3, senior ppl constants to trouble shoot. :)
Ppl work for BIG FOUR cant go to office cuz they WORK 10-15 hours a DAY Everyday they DONT Have the time to dress well, travel, go to office to make video,. Its Constant. A lot of them at hOme, u bring food to their table the are like eating 1 hr later. Clender booked 9am-5pm straight solid 8 hr no washroom break. Mutiple clients all for major corporation. Things come cant just “i am off work now i am going to Goodlife gym”. Junior level ppl get in too early if not put to big tasks they stuck n get bored n usually quit. Yeah,,,if he works his way up to Senior consultant , or management. He’d be looking for 24/7 GoodLife on YOnge street, cuz thats the only place he can still go when finish work at 10pm n like go to workout 11pm, not get kicked out of gym. Lol

actually I am 15 year old and next year i have to choose my career line and i have interest in consulting but i really want promise future where I can have good life so is management consulting good career cause i don't want to do same things daily that's y i am thinking about it...is it good option for me ????

Hello, nice vid. Wich tools/technologies do you use for the Analysis tasks ? Excel, Sql, PoweBI, Tableau , or Excel is enought ?
I use mainly Excel but I'm trying to learn SQL 😅 haven't had to use Power BI/Tableau but I know some projects need it!

Do you need to graduate with a specific degree before you can become a consultant? (e.g. I graduated with a degree related to healthcare, but I want to enter into this type of work) Hope you can create more vids about your work :)
definitely not! consulting is really broad so a lot of people join from non-business backgrounds. Some consulting firms also specialize in the healthcare industry so your background would be really relevant

I studied finance & economics but you can join consulting from any background! Going back to business school (for an MBA, etc.) can help a lot though
@@kwoknation i did my Bachelor's in management. Working as a gym manager right now in rural India and live has been really really miserable.
I am planning to study maths from scratch again cause am out of touch then increase my stats skills and take a masters in business analytics w/ relevant technical skills (excel, power point, SQL, SAS, R, and Tableu), and do an online diploma course in marketing or psychology. I considered information systems as my diploma but it's too much info to clumped up in a diploma and there is too much to learn from scratch so will stick to business.
Do you think that is the right path? Should I take a diploma in finance or economics or accounts? Analytical skills are very versatile but I need good business domain skills or iT skills and I am confused on what diploma I should enroll for while working full time. I really wished I didn't spend all my money in my under grad without learning a technical skill, I would love to settle in Canada or Australia. Big skyscrapers, working in huge officers always excited me but really had a tought life to make it out there.

you are probably well educated, or your family provided you good education source, you used it well, good for you. I've growed up in a very poor family, did not have the chance and money to go to university... although I really wanted to...:) I wish i could live the nice apartment that you have there, even just for one night.... but anyway, good to watch your video....

Hey,,,it is very. Hard for ppl to watch. In fact this dude is prob a show off dude. I think he is prob disconnected n lost in same way to like look like he is living a good life he is prob not getting challenged enough . JUST like Instagram make women feel ugly. Video like this can make ppl feel stupid or make them feel unfortunate about where u are , were. Please keep on good spirit . I KNOW most of Chinese friends who had everything paid for, n got a nice job, own nice place are the most unhappy . I cant explain. I have female friends like that. They are truely unhappy. U definitely need CPA and all the skill sets. Go to d BIG FOUR. Their hiring link has 2 options : 1 new grad/intern (they will get about 200 kids take 20 interns). 2 different link --HIGH skill PROFESSIONAL (high intelligence, Years of work experience, high work ethics, high EQ. )
Interns or New grads its like equivalent to : a kid gets hired by Hospital as like Front desk as assistant. Just reports stuff to dr, but do NOT do anything. Literally anyone speak English can do that job. N usually that job u go NOWHERE. Like literally u go NOWHERE. Ppl enjoying that job, wants to be assistant n its best they can get with the education CAP. N there ppl try to BY pass the Medical school to get into Hospital , then get mad that they can never be a Doctor, NOT even a NURSE. 😅
I saw him in interview lol. They record interview clips , self presentation, also answr questions. I am shocked this year randomly he is UP ONLINE already !! Bragging about the Big FOUR. IN FAct he applied IT when he’s never had IT training. N when he got rejected. He even called back to ask :”what did i do wrong that did NOT get thru interview?” He’s try to work the system. I don’t wanna say anything strange but its like a LOT of “talk d talk” with NO experience. Almost airy.represent a manipulative person that’s smart but putting the energy n time on the wrong space.
Do you like working a 9-5? I feel like I wouldn’t be able to handle working that long in an office
I don’t really like traditional 9-5s either but recently switched to a new job that’s a lot more interesting & flexible 😅 will make more content about it soon
