- 📌 Timestamps in pinned comment! 📌 nyc self-employed youtuber & skateboarding vlog :) in this video I go street skating + give you organization, & self-motivation tips/hacks that, as a newly self-employed youtuber/business owner/adult in nyc, have seriously helped me get things done and reduce my stress. since this goofy system has been working SO WELL for me, I wanted to share it with you! (this system is vaguely based on the popular 'getting things done' model) By making this process fun and ~ a e s t h e t i c ~ using physical, colorful post-it notes with tasks written in bold letters, and organizing thoughts/tasks into specific places that makes you feel on top of things, I have reduced my stress/anxiety/decision making, ensured I don't forget to do important things, and most importantly, it's so much fun! I think this is boosted my motivation immensely, no joke. Being able to visualize your work and see how much you have done (especially as an online creator) is insanely motivating!! I hope this helps at least one person out ❤️ skating in this video includes street skateboarding in Brooklyn + a clip at Cooper Skatepark.

It is an awesome one off guide for learning how to rekindle your relationship without the headache. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my old buddy Taylor got cool results with it.

Okay, I was hyped up by the task thing. I'm officially old AF ! 😭 I couldn't care less when I was young but it's actually very helpful. I love the trash can idea. Right now, I'm still using Trello but I'll keep whay you're doing in mind !

I love your Post-It Note organizing hack 😀😀😀😀😀😀 It works for me. Thanks. I am a retired artist but I needed a to do list for all my home DIY tasks. If I have to do something again, I just save the note and I have it instead of loading my Brain with hundreds of tasks. Lists just don't work for me.

When you were talking about the big post it notes I literally wondered if you had a category for each color, but when I realized you don’t I just thought that if you did you would have to memorize the categories or always check which color is for each and that could be more confusing to think than just putting them in different places.
So ya just a “little”😂 thought here
But of course the color-category can work for a lot of people I just think that for me it would be easier to put them in different places

Street in my town kinda sucks but the few times I went to bigger towns and cities with friends it was amazing and felt really great

On my Trello I have a "Done" section where I move all the tasks that I complete. I have a bunch of post-its too tho gotta buy a new bin
I tried that too!, but didn’t give me the same feeling as the post it’s. I was actually surprised to watch the Trello system stop working for me. But it’s different for everyone!

I completely agree. I think the ideal situation would be to have a separate office that’s just for work, where all this stuff would go. Sometimes I do wish my whole home was just a place for chilling out and didn’t remind me of work stuff. But at least it’s in a specific part of my house, and I try to only sit there when doing work

great ideas man! really enjoyed the video. this is a weird comment, but i would watch your skate content so much more if you didn't wear a helmet. you aren't jumping down el toro or skating a mega ramp, it's just so aesthetically unpleasing since that seems to appeal to you it seems counter intuitive. plus i just think it makes street skaters look like pansies. the reality of it is i'm not the only one that thinks that way, if you want to grow your youtube presence and brand you should really consider it. trying to be polite as possible w/ this constructive feedback. anyways, good vid, have a good day man.
