~

Update from Husqvarna:
15:18 | In Reduced Mode, the display normally shows the speed on top, the rev counter in the middle and the gear position at the bottom. When you hit reserve, the gear position display is replaced by a bar that tells you that you need to refuel.
Okay so basically it's the perfect display , I wonder 🤔 if people are gonna swap them in the Duke
is clock not visible?
Nothing else, no
@@puneetmishra7701 No
I really like that minimalist feature, every manufacturer must think about that. Don’t have to show unnecessary info on the console, it’s just too distracting. Hats off to Husqvarna for doing that! 🫡
Could you do a video about how to take care of bikes personally with or without service from the showroom. Loveee the time for btw best thing with tea in the morning
Request noted, Aditya!
@@motorinc please do it
please do that.. I think it is the only way to grow love for our machine
Very good suggestion.
yay
Don't ever change the intro music please, It's addictive 🌟
All right! Glad you love it so much!
I scrolled down to say this and saw this. 😆Right up there with Hawaii 5 Oh
Hope we can get a longer version
Can you please post the full version or just the music
My brain identifies this as theme of motorinc
I think one of the major issues with Husqvarna is that there is no Marketing done for that brand. I have ridden the Svartpilen 250 and it is fantastic. The small compact bike being capable of such amazing things is very refreshing.
Great point! Thanks Sudhakar!
Just a point on what I think I miss while listening, is looking at the machine. If possible at all, please think about parking the bike (or at least a digital model) in the conversation room, so that I can look at it while listening to you guys.
Hey Uttkarsh! Feedback noted, but bringing the vehicles into the studio at MotorInc First is logistically impossible. To give you an example, the Mavrick rides were in Bhuj, ~950km from our office and they were pre-production bikes. We'd have to wait a month or more to do a MotorInc First if in-studio vehicles were a thing for us.
@@motorinc Its hard to get bikes in the studio, but my god will it elevate the viewer experience, like, that would be like next level of professional. Your channel already stands out to me cuz of the professionalism , not just, yep this is a camera, this is a bike, let's review (which is a good style, no offense, but it feels less effort to me). And I think bringing a bike will highlight that professionalism even more.
@@motorinc Just get some pics and mix it into the background :)
No plan to take shortcuts, Vivek
@@motorinc You can record a short video of the vehicle by walking around and play it on loop in the background.
Editor always does a great job with every video. Very minimalistic with pleasent colours, and use the edit where it actually needs it. GOOD JOB EDITOR.
Thanks a ton! We'll pass your compliments on to the team!
12:09 "Hggrr huhh grr I'm gonna kill somebody today" - had me in splits😂😂

Oooh! What company to be in! Thanks Aditya!
Thank you so much for this informative impressions. I was waiting for this husky first impressions from you guys. I saw your post on Instagram last night I couldn’t sleep then got a MotorInc podcast notification. Listened to that then slept, woke up, watched here for visuals. Kudos to you guys for this brilliant format. I love it so much that I never realise how 45 mins - 1 hour has passed and still want to hear you guys talk on and on.
I ride a R15S (based on V2) which I use for daily commute and touring (650+ kms a day) once a month and thinking to upgrade to Svart 401 as it looks so desirable to me. Only want to know how the 401 will make me feel on twisties as it is something I love and enjoy on my R15
Get a test ride, Bhramesh! We think you'll enjoy it. The cornering is different from the R15 in feel in many ways and that's the one thing you'll have to figure out whether you like or not
The intro music is catchy AF
Thank you very much!
Yeah what does it say though, 'yeah im a champion'??
@@motorincWhat is this music? From where can I get it as a ringtone?
@@Yeahbois69 or you may convert the video to mp3 online, download and clip it.
@@Yeahbois69I just screen-recorded it and made it into an audio file 🤧
Shumi, I had been waiting for this FIRST for almost a month now.. and I wanted to hear the comparison vs Triumph Scrambler 400 X and you rightly brought out the On Road and Off Road difference between these 02 beautiful machines.. SoThank You for that.. You did say that right about test ride the bike to tick off and reduce your buying list..
Thank You for the much awaited video.. Cheers
Glad we can help! Thanks Sandeep!
As someone who has been interested in the dukes for a while but never been a fan of their styling and how commited most of them feel, this seems like great alternative. I'd be interested to know about the service experience with these as I've heard a lot complaints from previous owners.
Yay!! Love the time the episodes come out. Hour long Cab ride to office got whole lot infotaining.
Yay! Glad we solved something!
waited so desperately after watching your reviews its hard to not wait for it everytime a new bike drops
Thanks for your patience medsedled!
Hello Motorinc 👋🏻 I love your videos, the non-sugar coated & realistic reviews and specially the intro music. So regarding the service intervals, costs & centers for the Husqvarnas will be exactly the same as the KTMs or separately??
Exactly the same, RR. Glad you love the MotorInc experience!
Hola desde España! excelente el podcast, muchas gracias!
As I keep saying! Marvelous Presentation! Only one thing I'd like to add! The Vocal Audio needs a little bit of tweaking for both of you guys! I mean the It sounds a little muddy at places, the Lows dominate the Mids and the Highs and then again everything comes back to place after a couple of mins! And then it happens again and this whole thing keeps happening throughout the video! Although whatever you guys say is completely audible! It's just that smidge of imperfection and I dont relate with Motorinc!I mean most people wouldn't probably notice it but being a Small Time musician who has learnt a few things about audio balancing it affects me 😅
It could be a microphone issue though! Because I've noticed this before also!
Brilliant as usual! Made my day. Regarding the how the wiring is done, I have my own perspective - to me, the Husqies aesthetically feel more technical/mechanical than the Duke so I love the ruggedness, feels like the Mototerminator or something we would ride in a post apocalyptic world.
Thanks Rohit! Thanks for sharing your perspective too! It helps!
12:08 maaan Shumi's enactments always makes me chuckle 🤣 God bless you good sir
Thanks Leki!
Finished watching one more video! 🎉🤩
Thanks for giving all the insights… and helping to make the more sensible decision ✌️👍keep it up
Hi from the UK, absolutely great review. I’m really impressed as I have just started to look at the 400cc class for a second bike. We will get both the Svartpilen and Vitpilen 401 here (when they finally turn up) with both the IMU and 2 riding modes. A test ride will be needed I think. Thanks again for a great review
They should offer variants here in India...like in cars - from base to premium fully loaded.
Finally , 😁 been waiting for this one I just hope once you get a couple more subscribers the test bikes come flooding in .
Thanks Aditya! Test bikes are not really that big a challenge, but with our small team and quality ambitions, speed is. Subscribers: we'd rather have quality than quantity, honestly, and to us the people we have here in MotorInc Fam is the conversation we'd like to have and we're not convinced that a much larger subscriber count is a good goal for us.
@@motorinc That is so pleasing to hear that vision, at this point if you had a bike brand I'd immediately but the whole range 😄
🤜🏽🤛🏽
Shumi? Will you make a bike some day? Plis?
As in MotorInc's own motorcycle? Hmm... let's see atraversal. We know Shumi's personal view is "I'd rather be riding"
This is the best automotive analysis channel . Kartick's knowledge on 4 wheelers and Shumi always being perfectly reasonable and being to the point is what any one would want. And 2nd thing why I respect you two is you don't allow ads to feature on your videos and I know it's a big monetary sacrifice for experience of viewers. All other channels feature annoying ads . It should be most subscribed and most viewed channel.
Thanks Barun!
Man motorinc is on the roll!! It's one video after another. Awesome guys
Awesome episode, I was waiting for it with bated breath because the Svart bug has bitten me hard and I really want to get one - provided the Test Ride is a success.
One query - can you guys help with the suspension settings - as in, I have never done that in a bike so far, so any pointers as to where to start and how to go about understanding how to tweak them? I understand that it's a P&C of 5 and 5 settings, but what helps in which terrain is something that would be a great starting point!
Thank you for the awesome video!
Finally! Was waiting for you guys to discuss the 401 since forever. Anyway, you guys gave me a good start to a lazy Sunday.
Glad to be included in your Sunday plans, Gautam!
Best review channel on youtube. I just love listening to you guys. The passion can be felt through the screen. Thanks Shumi and Kartikeya
Ah finally! This was the one that i saw on street the other day, it's just as u said, i remember seeing HUS.. and blank😆 i thought I'd google it after reaching home, but guess what happened i had forgotten the HUS.. part too🤦
Always nice to know abt new motorcycles, good work team motorinc!
Haha! Thanks ayeayepeople! We like that fact we're regularly seeing you here too!
After a busy schedule finally got the time to watch the podcast❤ i thank you guys for making this Sunday a good one🎉
Love that your target audience is more mature. Pure moto talk instead of flashy music and videos.
Thanks Sayan! We love MotorInc Fam too!
Much love from Nepal! Been waiting eagerly for this one, keep up the awesome work 💪
Hope you enjoyed it! Thanks Rishav!
i just love this wide spectrum of color options
🤣
Loved the tail side..looked cleaner with the licence plate on the tyre hugger. In this case the need to make the bike look bigger sounds reasonable. But why didn't other bikes(except rtr310) follow it?
I'm hoping to get one such tyre hugger with a number plate for my cb350rs/- someday.
My Google assistant woke up as soon as you said "Hey Google!" at 1:46 😂
Um... kindly excuse
Same😂
Same here man😂

Same here tooo...😂😂😂
Great Video as Usual❤❤ What a nice way to start a Sunday morning.
I like the 401 more than 390. Its Subtle but Special at same time. Only question I have is, Since the new 390 Adventure is OTW, will there will be a Norden 401 parallel to it.? Coz I like the Norden 901 more than 890 ADV.
Should be, Siddarth, but no official confirmations yet at all
For context, i ride a 390 adv and was given a loaner vitpilen, thought it would feel as compact as a duke, but rightly put straight seat feels more roomy /its not as aggressive /seating ergonomics are better than interceptor and given the low centre of gravity and sharp handling, it flicks sharply but doesnt make it as obvious
Brought down the choice to HD X440, Husky 401 ❤ exciting times ahead.
I was Waiting sooooooo much for this ..... I've been waiting for the 401 for so long i almost thought it wasn't coming... I love this machine I'm gonna get it no matter what
All right! Best of luck and do keep us posted, Pratik!

Hii Shumi I am a college student. I was fond of Cars but thanks to you i am becoming more and more passionate for bikes. Saving to buy one soon
Awesome! Best of luck Mukul! Do let us know how this goes!
@@motorinc Hey also a suggestion can you please add more visuals inbetween. Like i really appreciate the effort that you guys put in the presentation. Hats off to that. But a few more pics here and there in between won't hurt anyone 😅
No plan to clog it up with visuals, Mukul. We believe we show the bike fully, add as much footage as we think is needed. But we think a meaningless, or repetitive showing of visuals will not let you listen to the discussion - and that is _FAR_ more important than the visuals to us.
@@motorinc Well you guys are the experts. And i will leave this up to you guys. Cause I really love the cinema by Motorinc ❤️.
I want shumi sir to start his own motorcycle brand so that people can have much better options in the market. I'll buy almost all of the bikes from your portfolio😂
An easier thing if existing companies watch this channel and take notes.
Beautiful studio
Thanks a ton! We'll pass your compliments on to the team Samir!
Bike and The First Impressions ... Minimalistic and Beautiful ... Loved them both 🤘 Keep It Up Guys
Hi shumi , big fan of your journalism having some noob doubts
1. If i am using handle bar raisers and met with an accident due to a totally different issue so can insurer deny the claim?
2. I am planning to buy this bike but tubed tire are bugging me so either i will spent 10 k for way2speed tubeless conversion or will use 250's alloys on this so will it hamper my insurance claim in any way? As insurer will treat them as modification
1. In theory yes, in practice, unlikely
2. We'd change the alloys and ask the agent to add the wheels as an accessory to the insurance policy so they're covered.
@@motorinc
Ok we can add it as an accessories but wont the insurer claim that bike actually was made for tubed spoke rims we were using alloys so it made the bikes balance incorrect and due to that accident happened and we are denying you claim ?
If possible can you please mention this info in some of your shorts because I was trying to find this information from a long time but it is not present anywhere even chatgpt failed :(
thank you
It can happen but we suspect it will not end up in a claim denial
@@motorinc should one buy insurance from the dealer only or go with aftermarket cheaper solution... name few insurers which we should avoid at any cost? Thanks
Hello people, so I've been thinking of getting a speed 400 before this I've only ridden my fathers splendor which at this point is more or less 18+ years old, my question is should i still get the speed 400 ? Is it a good choice ?
The reason I'm going for the speed 400 is that everywhere i keep hearing that it's a calm and easy going city bike, plus im confident that i can get used to riding it relatively well in about a week's time
We generally don't recommend bikes over 30bhp for people with limited riding experience (in terms of performance, not years). However, the Speed 400 is, as you say, easy to get on with.
Hey Guys, Love your videos I never thought I would watch a bike review for more than 10-15 minutes but you guys made me watch for an hour #kudos. I need your opinion, I bought my first bike #Honda CB 350 RS initially planned to buy #Triump Speed 400 but dad forced me buy Honda did I made a mistake? Or I made the right choice? Your response will be more appreciated.
Another banger episode. Kudos team.
PS. Do you think the tail grab kind of goes against the design of the Svartplien. It does look like the odd ball there
Looking at the tires, pairing the STRs with the Scrambler 400X once the MRFs wear out would be interesting!
Sunday has become so crucial listening to Shumi and kart ❤ peace next level
As much as I appreciate your style of presentation and in-depth technical talk about the products. What I really would like from Team MotorInc. is to actually shoot videos (large format and not 2 minute clips) that are hands-on with the products and you are actually driving them + testing them + sharing your feedback and wealth of information.
Thanks for the feedback. We want to make videos that match our quality expectations, and until we can, we won't create content formats/shows just because, Obelix76
Great content as always.
Much appreciated!
this is a bike im going to consider buying because as much as i love the dukes my younger cousin (who lives a completly different life than me, and has an opposite attitude about motoring itself) owns one. and i know that is a bad reason to not get one but it is what it is.
I absolutely love how simple and stylish husqies look I really hope someday we will have a baby norden out with this engine configuration 🤞🏻
This video helps me alot to understand about the bike. I went to showroom today i checked it directly. Yes the bike is appealing more nice and bigger.
Good to know! Thanks for keeping us posted!
Another excellent discussion... 👏Do Speed 400, Scrambler 400x, Duke 390 and Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 all have the same engine? Noticed that they all have same bore and stroke...89 mm X 64 mm.
Pretty amazing to see how much difference the riding triangle can make to the character of the motorcycle in comparison to the 390 which has the same mechanicals. Would this be an accurate description of the cause of the difference between the two?
Was eagerly waiting for this one , since im saving & planning for the duke ... in the end im glad that my plan is on the right track . Kudos guys, thanks
LETS GO!! , Thank you guys for the review on this bike , one of my dream bikes for sure!
🤜🏽🤛🏽
Just a random question. As you guys have tested a lots of bikes. Which one is the one with the most comfort ride in the single cylinder class? Lovely video as usual btw. 🩵
The intro is very addictive ❤
Great 👍 and detailed information in all' aspects, genuine review to choose choice, but i am now all looking on new pulsar N150 please give us a review on N150 not only i am many people around me confusing so please clear about that..
I have the Svartpilen 250, only brought it because it looked really good. The issues I felt were the low ground clearance and the fuel tank. The seat height was not a problem as I am near 6 feet.
same, I dont understand all the issues besides the one you mentioned above they are subjective.
owned vitpilen for about 3 years now.. my only problem is it still look too good 😎
What camera was that on your helmet? GoPro or Insta 360? The video is crazy with a perfect colour grading.
MotorInc team, your content is amazing, you've probably heard it enough times already, but who doesn't like to hear it again right!? 😆
1. The quality of the content as a whole package is something I've never seen, and I've been watching automotive journalism and reviews for over a decade.
2. The sheer quantity and quality of the information you provide is something very practical and still aspirational. We can relate to the things you say and learn something new always.
3. The unbiased opinions away from brand collaborations is something we all need. Honestly, we aren't even sure who we can trust anymore with reviews. You aren't afraid to mention your friends/colleagues you share the discussions with and that just speaks about your credibility and the experience you have.
4. The honest and upfront feedback you provide in the videos is absolutely amazing 😍.
Lastly, absolutely love you guys on camera, it feels I'm back in my college geeking on these machines.
Around the 2 nd minute you told thte peiple cant find Husqwarna stores , luckily in Bangalore about 5 minutes away from me are 3 parallel stores a ktm , bajaj and husqwarna and all of them are such great dealers who are fanatics and they offer the best service which is something so rare now days
Very enjoyable discussion, bordering on hilarious often.❤
Thanks Nirmal!
Hi Motorinc, love the detailed discussion, please can you throw some light on the rtr310 ir should i wait for the rr310 refresh or go safe with the duke390?
To us, Sudakshinatopader, the 310s a weird engine size to have in the market right now. India's clearly moving up to the 400s class and we see diminishing reasons to think of a middle choice between the 250s (so many) and 400s (so many again!)
Excellent episode as always. I know the Vitpilen 401 and the Svartpilen 250 is not launched for the Indian market, but they are being produced for export. How these models are different from the Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 250?
Finally the video I was looking for!
Glad we can help!
Hey, also had an idea for This Connect S02, if you're planning to bring it back on.
How about the state of riding gear in the country?
It generally is hard to come accross proper ECE approved ones, at retail shops as well as the popular online retailers.
Where can one find, what to look for, how are Indian markets different from their global counterparts in terms of their needs, etc.
Could be an interesting listen.
Hey Dhruv! If you look to Indian brands like Viaterra, for example, CE-rated stuff is not hard to find, nor is it silly-expensive!
Hello,
Always admire your reviews. Little bit of help is needed. I am looking for a light weight bike with good performance. I trimmed downed to Speed 400 and Husqvarna Svartpilen 401. I like the husqvarna from the very beginning for their minimalist and unique kind of look. But spoke tubed wheels in 401 has made me lean towards speed 400. But I am still confused over these two. Can you help me out here? And if you can suggest any alternative option too
Been waiting for this review 😬
Hi Shumi, what would you suggest between Hero Mavrick and Husqvarna Vitpilen. I know they both have completely different characteristics but as they both fall near 2.5 lacs budget, what would suggest to go with ?
I am looking for a bike for my daily commute mostly.
I've got the 2020 Svart, I am not sure if the 401 is for me simply because in my eyes the 2020 design is just unbeatable.
This video totally makes sense, coming from FZS v2 I felt Husqverna to be more suitable for me, the posture was familiar and option to let it rip is just awesome. Which BTW I felt was missing in Scram 400x and felt a bit top heavy for me and I know I did not want to put extra effort getting into that extra bit of learning curve for a scrambler for me, and I personally didn't like the instrument cluster of Speed 400 and I'd rather stick to 401 and get a familiar riding posture and be comfortable knowing I'm in command and in future I'd like change the spokes to alloy for street riding(If Vitpilen was offered in 401 I'd have had gone for that instead for sure + handlebar raiser).
Perfect way to begin with the brand name and history. New bike company opened up in our books!
Great discussion as always. Is there a plan to review Honda NX 500?
Great review. We have only the 401s in the U.S., of course; but what a great little bike! While I agree that this is definitely a street bike, I do think that it handles some light off-road riding pretty well. It certainly looks fantastic.
Thanks Corey!
best thing to listen to while i work
12:09
Pls auggest a 120kmph cruising motorcycle which cana tour..... for me cruising means minimal vibration and engine can sustain that speed for few hours
Also I am 5' 7" so seat height could be an issue
Currently I ride avenger cruise 220 and am quite satisfied with it except for high speed cruising......
I wish i had this option in college. I don't begrudge the Karizma i had at the time but the Svartpilen looks SO good and it has the best thing KTMs don't: the calmness.
Hi, a very big thank you to team Motorinc especially shumi sir for this informative video. It made my decision quite easy and I'm the proud owner of a Husky Svartpilen 401. Loving every bit of the ride.
Once again thank you and keep up the good work.
Wow, thanks for sharing @allenrobinson9520. Glad to hear that!
I hope I get to work with team MotorInc someday! The editing and content are both world-class. Love each episode.
Thanks Shivvashishtha! Best of luck!
Hello @motorinc,
Great and impressive review. Thanks for the information!! Been regularly watching your stuff and it doesn't disappoint.
I am planning to get my first bike and bring it home on the coming GudiPadwa(Marathi New Year in case you don't know)!!
I currently ride a 100C bike but have ridden bigger bikes on regular basis as well.
I am a city rider(5ft6) and occasional tourer.
I was thinking of Triumph Speed 400 and the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401.
Your opinion might help.
Sir cb300f vs maverick 440 which one is better for daily usage and weekly long rides and value for money ...
Just got myself a vstrom 250.I am 5 feet 7 or 6 inch and ive started to struggle with the height but as shumi says riding tall bikes is a skill😂.Awesome video as always
For a human of 5' 8" and a lady pillion of 5'2", how good/bad both Vit and Svart would be for long rides touring ? And any retrofit that can help in overcoming the short comings?
We did a test ride of 5Km and liked the space and comfort inside the city with traffic but still confused about long rides in highway.
Hi MotorInc,
I am very confused between the Svartpilen 401 and Speed 400, i mainly travel 45km up and down everyday in peek bangluru trafic and looking for something very comfirtable and easy to ride, I have taken the test drive of speed 400 and didn't like the sound of fan when stuck in traffic as the fan was making more noice then the engine, still waiting for a test drive of Svarpilen 401.
Also, since the 401 has the adjustabele suspention which will be the most comfirable bike Speed 400 or The Svartpilen 401 with the suspention tuned for comfirt.
Love your content!!!
Why not get a test ride? It'll clear up a lot very quickly, Akash!
39:10
That "I usually do, _thanks_ " sent me through the rails. 😆
🤣
Finally! Been waiting for this for a long time🎉
Thanks for your patience!
Which one to buy 401 or 250 which one is more practical
This is totally unrelated to the product you are talking about here, but i would love to see you guys talk about some of the military vehicles. I know no one can buy them but it would be interesting to see your perspective.
Great clarification about this confusing bike. I wish they should have given option of custom built, as the customer can choose from the available features & accessories, like now I want tubeless tyres, cornering traction control, navigation, etc. or option of booking Svartpilen 250 or Vitpilen 401, as per indian taste. Shumi Sir, 12.10, you really given hysterical expression, loved it. 🤩
Just reminder, in video discussion about connectivity...bluetooth, navigation is missing.
There is only 1 mode (street) as the international spec of 401 gets both road and rain mode.
Also IMU and bluetooth is standard on the international spec version.
I think Indian spec too gets bluetooth but it's an add on optional ..
Thanks for the help Allen!
Great video, solves a lot of doubts.
I quite like the intensity and the riding position on the Duke.
How feasible would it be to take the Svart to the Duke's intensity/riding feel?
Easy. Just rev it out more!
