I started in Menaggio taking a bus to Breglia then walked to Refugio Menaggio and a short way up from there towards the nearest mountain. Needless to say the views were amazing!
Wow, the hike started out with that road walking, but it really got good once you got off the road. I like how you found a stick to use as a hiking pole. Even if you couldn't go all the way to where you wanted, the views were still fantastic. Another amazing spot you can visit by bus.
Yeah, why spend 4 days relaxing when you can fly to Milan, take trains to Maggio, wait for a bus, and then climb a mountain? 😂 I’m glad you were able to enjoy nature and have a nice time by yourself!
