Thanks for putting this up! Stained Class is my favorite Priest album. 🤘
If I had a time machine, this would be the concert I would go to. Holy shit that setlist!
Les Binks knocking it out of the park
saw them at Liverpool Empire ,on that tour...best ever Priest set list..... not very often we hear a recording with "Savage" and ""Stained Class" ..... Priests finest album..Stained Class
Halford's vocals are really on fire here. Thanks for the upload, Simon
Priest..Priest..Priest..🤘🤘🤘
oh moi aussi d'accord
une musique comme ça merci beaucoup
...
Those vocal instruments Halford had until this period might be the strongest chords in whole history of music. Shame that those instruments have gotten noticeably weaker since 1979.
And the saddest thing is that we'll never hear him in his prime (pre-1979) doing some lighter but still very demanding material (apart from Last Rose of Summer). I still wonder what he'd sound like in more bluesy/r'n'b stuff. And there are people like Graham Bonnet who really set the expectations sky high when it comes to being an r'n'b singer prior to heavy metal.
The late '80s and early 90s were huge for Halford, he was crushing it!
Definitely something off with the recording, still great though!
This concert sounds weird. It sounds like it's half a step down. I.E savage.
On the contrary, the old one ran a semitone too fast.
Simon Christensen Still, Savage is very rare so this is a huge gem. Same with Better By You, Better Than Me (Call For The Priest too)
Terrible setlist but in those days they had little to choose from. But Sinner, Beyond The Realms of Death and Victim of Changes back to back to back? A good thing they hadn't wrote Lochness yet.
M Binyamin Terrible setlist? I disagree, one of the best I’ve seen. No Turbo Lover, Breaking the Law or any of that crap. Just the best songs of their best albums. All I am missing is Tyrant, Saints in Hell, Raw Deal and Dissident Aggressor. Otherwise perfect😄
